Yesterday also known as the worst day of my life was over. What did she even think of herself? Yes I'm talking about Mehar. I thought coming to Mumbai would be fun but god had other plans and I met the most uptight and annoying girl right on the first day.

She looked good until she opened her mouth. Yea I know it was wrong of me but throwing food on her was completely unintentional but the wine she splashed all over my face and new shirt was definitely not a mistake.

Her friend Shanaya seemed quite sweet though she even commended me for my game this season. I think she likes watching cricket. However I noticed whenever she talked to another guy at the party Shubmans jaw clenched and although he didn't try to show it he was jealous as fuck.

It all had made sense when Ishan told me this was the same girl he was talking about yesterday. When Ishan was teasing him yesterday I thought it was just for fun and games but boy Shubman had fallen and by that I mean he was bloody whipped for Shanaya. Yes he's seen girls and even dated of course but I've never seen him talking so openly to someone he's only known for some time.

I was happy for him though. He told me that they weren't dating but I knew that wasn't going to be the situation for long because there was so much chemistry there. The only down side of Shub dating Shanaya would be me meeting that evil little friend of hers. I don't even know why I tried to approach her yesterday.

Yea so the thing was I had some food in my plate and I saw her dancing and she looked hot and like any other sane person I went to flirt with her but my leg tripped and the food in my plate was now on her clothes. I did say sorry she didn't have to be such a bitch about it because she literally screamed at me

Okay why was I even thinking about her I have to get my bags packed for the Zimbabwe series my first series for India. I can't believe I'm going to play for my country that too with my bestfriend as captain. This year was nothing short of a dream. My IPL season was a hit. The team scouts had started noticing me.

I'd suddenly become a public persona once again. The last time something this big happened was when we won the u-19 World Cup. Things were great after that but my form in the ipl had just been inconsistent but this season I found my rhythm and I think now I'm set. I hope I perform super well in the series and make my parents proud. They've been with me through everything and by everything I mean EVERYTHING.

I'd woken up early so I'd made myself some coffee. I was sitting idle on the couch binging an episode of my favourite tv show the office when Shubman gave me a news that would start the downfall of my day. We were supposed to meet Shanaya and mehar in the afternoon. Why god why? Shubman said he wanted to meet Shanaya once before we left because he had to talk to her about something important

"Bhai aisi kya baat karni hai bhabhi sai?" I teased

"Yaar Shanaya is just a friend first of all. And it's something important isliye."

"Drame. I know you like her toh the just a friend excuse won't work but take Ishan na I dont have a problem with Shanaya but her friend is a pain in the ass."

"That's actually one of the reasons you have to come. Shanaya called me today and said we have to do something about you two because agar we meet baad mai you guys are gonna be a problem."

"Did she say that or are you just taking me because Ishan had work?"

"Yea that too." I knew it he just had to take me because if they go alone it would seem like a date.

"Way to go shub. bhabhi se akele milne bhi nahi jaa sakta."

"Pehli baat toh woh bhabhi nahi hai and second of all she said mehar was ghar akele toh she thought to get her too."
