The Return of Peabody and The Ghoulies

Climax

A/N: Apologies if this is short.

Betty's POV:

It was finally lunch break in Riverdale High, I quickly grab my lunch and go outside to sit with my friends (including Jellybean), well except for Veronica, she's in New York with her parents due to a family issue.
'Hey guys' I said as I sat next to Jughead. He, Archie, Jordyn and Jellybean looked at me with short smiles. 'Hey Betty' Jughead said before kissing me on my head.

'Guys I heard some news from Veronica.' Archie stands as he looks away from his phone. Jordyn raises her eyebrow and asks 'What's the news then?' He then looks at her, Jughead and Jellybean solemnly. 'She heard in an alleyway from another gang than Penny Peabody and her Ghoulies are coming back for revenge on the Jones Family.' Jellybean looks at Archie like WTF.

'I highly doubt that since we rode her out of town.' JB replied 'She has got a point, there's no way that her and her crappy gang will show their faces in our town again.' Jordyn added.

'OK, but just be careful because last time, her gang almost beat Jughead to death.' I added 'And we cut off her tattoo in Greendale' JB responded. The ringing of the bell shrilled through the field telling us that it's time for our last two periods for the day. 'What class do you guys have?' I ask. 'I have Math with JB.' Jordyn says. 'I have English with Jughead. Archie replied as he turns to me. What do you have Betty?' 'Science, normally with Veronica' I respond as we all walk to class.

At Betty and Jughead's lockers...

Third Person:

Betty closes her locker and walks over to Jughead with a worried look in her eyes. 'Hey, Jughead I wanna ask you something.' Jughead turns to Betty in wonder. 'Yeah of course, what's up, is there a problem?' Betty hesitates for a moment.

'It's about what Archie said about Peabody, do you actually think that she'll come back for vengeance, I mean you, Jordyn and Jellybean practically ruined her serpent life so she might ruin yours too. Jughead looked at her with confidence but deep down, filled with worry. 'Don't worry Betty, my family will be okay, I promise you that.' Betty reluctantly backed down. 'OK, I gotta go to class now, are you staying at the Blue and Gold office later?'

'Yeah, I am, gotta keep digging on that  mystery we're working on.' Jughead replied. 'See you soon Jug' Betty said as she walked away towards the Science room while Jughead walked the opposite way.

After school, Jughead is just leaving the Blue and Gold office.

Jughead's POV:

I quickly grab my denim jacket and my bag then walk out of the office, the school was pretty eerie and I felt like I was being watched as I was walking towards the exit down the hall, but before I could get to the door, I felt a chloroform covered rag over my mouth. Then someone spoke near my ear. 'Did you really think that I would leave town and not come back for revenge, huh? Well, you and your little siblings ruined my life so now I'll ruin yours and trust me, it'll be much,much worse.' Archie was right, Penny is back but before I could do anything, I blacked out.
