Chapter 4

A few days had passed and the talk about the ball was like buzzing bees.

I woke up and my maids helped me get ready.

Today is the day that I will discover what power I possess. I only have 7 days until the ball. I need to know what kind of power I have. Just in case if anything were to go wrong.

Why would anything go wrong you might ask? Since I met the glowing light from before, I now know many important details from this book. Such as the tyrant of the Sun Empire will crash the party and crush the peoples hearts... literally.

He needed me for unknown reasons the light did not specify.  He would do anything or harm anyone at all costs. There'll be a huge fight during the ball events causing a start of war between the two nations again.

"I shouldn't overthink with an empty stomach."- I said to myself

I went to the dinning room where my family is. Breakfast was being served! I sat down while looking at each single plates. I am shocked about the amount of food that there was. It was only breakfast?

In my previous life I would just warm up freezer pancakes from the store. It sucked when it didn't microwave throughly. That's all I had though, mom and dad were busy with their company and business. So, know one had time to make me breakfast or teach me how.

I couldn't wait to eat the variety of delicious food! Once the plates were all served on the table we all started to eat. I enjoyed every last bite. Soon after I finished my meal, I felt like someone was glaring at me.

I tried to figure out who, then my eyes met Rose. As she noticed me looking at her, she turned her glare into a smile. Jealously did not look good on her. I then excused myself and I went to my room to figure out what my powers are.

Since I was born in the Flower Kingdom my powers must have something to do with flowers.

Then a thought came to my head. My aunt told me if I needed help I should call her out. "Her name was MM right? MM!" I said out loud. Then the light from before appeared right in front of my eyes.

"Is something wrong my lady?" -MM said

"Do you perhaps know how to unlock my powers?"

"That is something you must figure out on your own, i will only be a guide to you. So, I will tell you where to start." -MM said

//She continued on telling me about a place in the woods that have a strong aura. She said that if I were to enter the woods and find that place a flower with a strong aura will appear. That flower will make it easier for me to unlock my power. She also warned me about the monsters who are in control by the Sun Empire. The forest is Sun Empire territory.\\

"The place with the aura flower will be heavily guarded with all kind of danger. That is because monsters are attracted to strong aura objects. I advice you to be careful". MM said

Then MM told me that she will be there by my side.

I got myself ready to go on the journey to the woods. I packed all the essentials, I even packed a sword to protect myself.

In my previous life, I had a VR headset it broke due to my dad anger on me. I played all kind of stuff. My all time favorite was the combat games. Like using swords and other weapons during battle. I was a pro when using a sword to fight. So, i can say I'm well trained enough to wield a real sword.

MM gave me a map but there were no details inside the wood. I was on my own on finding it.

I informed my parents about figuring out my powers and that I will be gone 2-3 days max. It took a lot of convincing but they soon agreed only if I brought someone.

My father suggested Vince as he is good with a sword and a expert on riding horses. I agreed and so did Vince. Vince and I went to the stables to get our horses.

I got really excited as it was my first riding a horse. They were to expensive to have in my world. Luckily now I get to have one and even ride it!

"I know you are not well trained on riding horses. You like seeing horses on books but was always terrified of them" -Vince said

"I know but people change, I changed." I said then humming happily

Vince wasn't convinced and was worried that I will start to back out and go on a carriage instead. I assured him that I will be riding a horse and not sitting back while someone else does.

I got up on the horse and my eyes sparkle. I was so high up like I can touch the clouds. (I was exaggerating of course.) Then Vince told me the basic of riding and then we headed off.

"Told you Vincy I can ride a horse! Not scared one bit!!" I said with a smirk

Vince smiled at me and then laughed out of no where. I laughed with him and we couldn't stop.

Vince then spoke, " I guess you did change Lotus. May I ask you something?"

"Sure, what is it dear brother?"

"How did you escape after being kidnapped?" He said with a stern look on his face.

I froze for a second.. how did I escape from being kidnapped? Then a spark of information flashed in my head.

I told him how I escaped and that I was wondering around trying to get back home. He looked like he believed me and we continued on.

We eventually reached the woods. It was getting darker as we gotten deeper.
All of my fears came back to me.

Everything became quite. No chirps, no crickets, no animals, just quite. My brother signals me to prepare myself.

An arrow was flying towards my brother.
He dodged in time even though he couldn't see it.

||Vince is a skilled with a sword and have great strategies when it comes to fighting. He always wanted to be a captain of the nights. Instead he will become the King of the Flower Kingdom as he is the oldest heir.||

My brother got his sword out.

"We are not alone" - He whispered

We both got down from our horses.

"Are you ready?"- Vince said

"Never been more ready in my life" I said while taking the sword out.

||Vince didn't know she had a sword on her hand because of how dark the forest is.||

We can only hear sounds of the monsters coming closer and closer.

We are under attack by none other then the Sun Empire.

Will I make it out alive?
