I step in the living room,a towel wrapped around me cos I just got out of the shower, holding two dresses
One is a black and silver dress I bought recently I really like
The other is a deep blue dress, with a bit of gold on the waist"Which one?" I ask to Freddie
He looks at both of them, frowning a bit
"Why don't you just pick one of the dresses you use for work?" he asks
"Ugh,pretend I'm just a friend you're helping,okay? I need to look good" I groan
"Mhh...as your boyfriend I'd say the blue one...on the other hand-"
"Okay, black it is" I say going back in the bedroom to change
"Just...be careful,ok?"
"Sure...you don't have to be jealous,you know?"
"Yeah,I know,I trust you...it's just...I'm a bit concerned"
"Oh,don't be,at most I'll give him a blowjob" I joke
I put on the dress and start working on my make up
"You do remember about Naomi's comedy thing tonight, right?"
"Oh,yeah,I'll try to slip out of it as soon as I can and reach you guys there...it's just a dinner,so it might be short...I'll come back here, change and go to that local"
"Alright, let me know if anything goes south, alright?"
"Sure,babe"the outfit

I walk to the place I was told to be at,feeling kinda confident about tonight
The dress and how it hugs my curves, really does help with itWhen I reach a posh-looking restaurant, name spelled in gold letters and all that,I see a man that must be in his 40's,dressed nicely, hair gelled back
He notices me too"Hi,Mister Stibbard? It's nice to meet you" I say, holding my hand out for him to shake
He grabs it "Oh,call me Max,it's good to finally meet you,Astrid, you look incredible" he says, his eyes lingering on my body with a barely disguised interest
I chuckle a bit "Thanks, you can just call me Trish, though"
"Alright,Trish, shall we?" he gestures at the restaurantHe gets in,his hand resting a bit too comfortably on my waist as he guides me
By the way his fingers linger,I can tell he is trying to make an impression
I'll play along,just a little,as long as it doesn't get too far,just for business
We're brought to our seat by the waiter"You know" he starts "You look even more breathtaking in person"
I laugh lightly and take the menu to shield myself from his gaze for a bit
"And Martin did say you're quite a charmer,Max" I comment,lying
"Well,I try my best. But really,it's not every day that you meet someone as intriguing as you,Trish"
"Flattery will get you everywhere" I say smiling slylyWe take our orders,I decide on the chicken salad an a Martini, even if Max insists on some red wine he wants to drink along with his steak, which he takes rare
He's the biggest cliche I've ever seen
