Morning came and Cole woke up to an empty bed beside them. Clementine was gone. He tried call her,

"Clementine?" But no one answered. Cole went out the hut and tried calling again.

"Clementine??" But still no one. He looked around near him first and was about to go back inside when there were no signs of Clemmie, but then he saw golden curls from a distance. It was Clementine, walking towards the hut with a bunch of flowers in hand and a flower crown over their hear. Clementine saw Cole and quickened up their pace.

"Cole! Good morninggg!" She ran over to Cole and hugged him which Cole almost stumbled over.

"I-I thought you left." Cole said as he could smell the flowers scent on Clemmie's hair.

"Silly. I told you I won't be going back until 2 days." Clementine broke the hug. "Here, I made this one for you." She presented Cole a flower crown, one that has daisies as base and bunch of wild flowers surrounding it.

Clementine placed it on Cole's head and adjusted it to make it look beter.

"There, it looks good on you." Clementine giggled.

"Thanks.." Cole smiled softly, and both went inside shortly.

The day went by quickly. Clementine and Cole both spent the day with lots of fun adventures. They went to see the two Harkers (Story and Yarrow), they sung, danced and tell each other's story. That was when Clementine fully opened up her story to them, and being accepted just as who she was and who she wanna be. After meeting with the Harkers, Clemmie and Cole would run around the fields and just be laughing and playing silly games. Cole taught Clementine how to catch a fish, but Clementine seemed to have caught more fishes than Cole.

It was a fun day in short, both experienced new things together. And for the first time, Cole seemed to have forgotten about what loneliness is. Although the don't show it, they like the feeling of having someone by their side, like Clementine. It feels... Being seen after years of hiding. Clementine was like the sudden thrill of their life, the same goes for Clementine: All about Cole was like an escape frum the abus3 in the house. Both was the same, but different at the same time.

Time passed, and it's now the day Clementine will return to the house. She didn't want to, of course, but they have to. So as it was still morning, Clementine lead Cole to the old abandoned well, talking about many stuffs on the way. Clemmie mentioned to Cole that the well had a secret passage leading to the basement of the house. Cole didn't get why there would be a random secret passage there, but Clemmie didn't have the answer to that. Before Clementine went down the ladder, Cole had something to say but was a bit hesitant.

"Clementine," He said. "We'll be seeing each other again, right?" Asked Cole with a rather saddened face. Clemmie looked at Cole before smiling,

"Of course. I'll be back before you know it."

"Promise?"

"Promise." They interlink their pinky finger and pressed their thumb against the other.

Cole smiled, and with that, Clementine went down the ladder as Cole held the trap door open to give light for clemmie as they went down. When Clementine reached the bottom, they gave Cole a thumbs up which Cole nodded and closed the door- and it went quiet. They supposed they got quite attached to Clemmie during the last few days and even though there was not that much time, it was long enough for a lonely kid like Cole.

When Clementine arrived at the basement, it seems like she was back from a dream and it was time to face reality. Her reality. The old dusty room was still the same as ever and it made Clementine sick to look at it again. The door opened, luckily Clementine didn't arrive later. A servant called out,
