I was the love of your life
But you were not mine
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

I lost count of how many times I have been awoken from my very precious sleep by none other than Minho. Truthfully, I don't think this is something I'll ever grow used to, sleep is a necessity for me--for most actually.

Lazily, I get out of bed and rub at my tired eyes. I didn't even look at the time, all I knew was the sun was peeking through the curtains and I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. Still groggy as I open the door to see Minho yet again in the kitchen, it must be his favorite place.

My feet grow cold against the wood floors but ignoring it as I continue to walk to the kitchen, along with ignoring Minho's curious gaze. He was probably wondering why and how I was up so early, he was the reason. Standing next to the culprit of the loud noise, the blender.

My back faces him as I start making myself a cup of coffee, I couldn't live without coffee. I felt like I was tired all the time and in the beginning, any caffeinated drink only made me more exhausted but now my body only ran off of coffee. At this point, inject it into my veins and I'll die a happy man.

Grabbing the warm mug and turning around to Minho with a glass of some sort of green juice in his hand, drinking it contently. "Is this what Jeongin and Georgia have to deal with when there's construction in the mornings?" I say playfully, my mood a lot higher than before, thanks to the coffee. The warm mug heats up my cold hands, it was freezing in the apartment but also I was half naked with only sweats on so my fault really.

"Good morning" Minho finally says, his lips curving slightly as he brings the glass to his lips and takes a drink of his healthy smoothie.

"Morning" I respond simply, I'm not much of a morning conversationalist. I keep things short and sweet.

I watch as Minho looks over me as I take a drink of my coffee, just black coffee. Simple, remember. My brows furrow and before I can question his sudden fixation on me, he says "Coffee is bad for you"

I gaze over his green smoothie that screamed, healthy and disgusting. Looking down at my mug with hot bitter coffee, it sufficed. My eyes left my mug that I hoped would warm up my body as I looked at his. Only now realized he was also shirtless, toned chest, and was exposed for me to wonder if he went to the gym regularly because I've never been so tempted to run my hands down--

I swallow harshly and take another drink of my coffee as I walk away and to the windows that he must've opened the curtains to welcome the morning light. "Coffee never does me wrong" I finally respond to him as I look out into the morning traffic.

Minho joins me, looking outside and humming lowly, "The weather is starting to change" He points out, remembering that Autumn is my favorite season.

I smile to myself for a second before saying, "I know, the pool closes this week" I remind him, the whole town was aware of the closing of the public pool, it's kind of like their green light to start decorating for Fall and Halloween.

"You still help out at Margaret's Bakery?" Minho asks me as I walk away and sit on the couch, watching as he follows me but doesn't sit down, he just lingers and awaits my response.

I nod lightly, and after taking another drink of my coffee, I say "It starts to get really busy and so I like to help her out during the colder seasons since her hot chocolate is everyone's favorite during the cold weather"

Minho smiles for some reason, his drink now gone but he continues to hold the empty glass in his hands. How is he not cold? "Her blueberry muffins are insane," Minho says now sitting on the other end of the couch, closing his eyes for a second and imagining it. There was this sudden spark in his eyes and I just hummed and sipped my coffee that was not as hot anymore.
