The car ride was...interesting. Hope sat in the front with mom, they talked between each other. Blaise and I sat in the back, he sat by the window and I say in the middle. To anyone who looked at us they would think we were just enjoying the quiet but really we were communicating through our mind link.

My mom watched us in secret not so secretly. She watched as Blaise kissed my hand, she watched me lean into him, she watched him stare out the window. I knew what she was doing, she was trying to read him but Blaise always was one step ahead with his masked emotions and energy.

Finally my mom parked, all of us getting out. It was cold outside the car.

"Ok it's 12:20 meet us back at the car at 5:00 sharp no later" mom spoke, Blaise and Hope nodded. Blaise kissed my forehead before walking away with Hope.

"Your dad is going to have a dreadful time trying to break him" Mom says smirking as we watch him and Hope walk away.

"I expect him too, Blaise is not easy and he is definitely not a push over" I said smirking proudly at the thought of my mate being strong enough to handle my dad as we walk away.

"What exactly are we looking for" Hope moves around the jewelry shop looking at rings.

"We are looking for an expensive promise ring and a wedding ring and bands" I say looking with her.

"Don't you think it's way too early to be asking her to marry you" she asked in return.

"I am not asking her to marry me yet, the promise ring is a promise that I am going to marry her but the wedding ring and bonds are for the fact the fact that we are already married through the bond" I said like it was simple.

"Awww that's so romantic" Hope spoke, I cringed at the word romantic because this still new to me. We had skipping dating and went straight into mating so I'm still adjusting to this, I never thought I would be married before I even finished school.

"You need any help" A high quirky voice asked.

Our heads shot up, on the other side of the glass was a woman. She was heavily tanned with red hair and clear blue eyes, she had a nose ring and her face was beat with make up. She was biting her lip in an overly seductive way.

"No" I said going back to what I was doing.

"Are you sure, I know I can be helpful" she responded lowly pushing her breast out for me to see.

"Take a fucking hint I said no" I spat looking at her in disgust, she scoffed walking away.

Hope tried not to laugh as we continued moving around the store until we came to a stop. The 2 most beautiful rings I knew I would be able to find in this town until I got back to the wizarding world, they were beautiful and she deserves nothing less.

"Hope look at these 2" I pointed them out to her and I watched her eyes light up with a smile on her face.

"They're perfect" she whispered staring at them.

I looked at my phone, it was 2:00 and me and my mom weren't even half way finished shopping. We were in the jeans section of the store, it was too quiet for me.

"How is dad" I asked and she side eyed me, she thinks I don't know they are still in love.

"He's fine, he misses you and wishes he could see you" she says shortly.

"Ok how are you and dad" she glared at me before walking away quickly with me following behind laughing.

"How are you going in school" she said staring at sizes of jeans.
