Ashwin : Hey... its okay to be surprised... I didn't mean to catch u off guard like this...

Sivaangi tried to steady her breathing taking in the sight of Ashwin who now seemed less like a prospective groom and more like the friend she had spent that beautiful afternoon with...

Sivaangi : Its just... I didn't expect this... I thought... I thought it was someone else...

She said with her voice trembling slightly while Ashwin's eyes held a hint of understanding and said...

Ashwin : Aiyyo Sivaangi... its okay... ithula enna irukku nu neega ippo panic aaguringa..... I can understand it Sivaangi... now u just calm down...

He said placing his hands on her shoulders while she glanced at his hands and back at his eyes and her cheeks started coloring up even more...

Just a small touch more of tender touch of his made her calm down immediately.... On seeing his effect on her Ashwin he felt very much elated but then hiding his cheeky grin asked playfully...

Ashwin : So what is ur answer... are u still in the idea of not wanting this marriage...

Sivaangi's eyes shot up to meet his and quickly lowered her gaze being shy at his question...

But before she could respond there was a gentle knock on the door...

It was Sivaangi's cousin who was calling out from the other side...

S.cousin : Sivaangi akka... chithi ungala keela kootitu vara sonnaga....

Ashwin's smile faltered slightly but he quickly masked it with a casual demeanor and said...

Ashwin : I suppose we should go out there...

Sivaangi nodded but her cheeks were still flushed from the earlier surprise...

Just when Sivaangi opened the door and Ashwin stepped out they were met with Sivaangi's mom who was halfway ascending the staircase...

Sivaangi saw how Ashwin gave her mother a polite nod and a warm smile while her mother too mirrored his reaction...

But once Ashwin then turned back to her with his eyes twinkling and giving her a nod as well and started to descend the stairs her mother shot her a questioning look...

More like scanning her to know whether she had behaved properly which again made Sivaangi roll her eyes at her mother but now directly looking at her which earned her a furious glare back...

But not minding anything Sivaangi too started descending the stairs leaving her mother fuming in anger as well as confusion...

As she walked toward the living room Sivaangi couldn't shake the feeling that maybe... just maybe this unexpected twist in her life might turn out to be something special after all...

After a heartfelt exchange of pleasantries and polite nods Ashwin's family prepared to leave...

They bid their farewells with Ashwin's father saying with his voice warm and reassuring...

A. Dad : We will call u soon with our response...

While Sivaangi's parents nodded in agreement and their smiles hinting at their satisfaction with the meeting...

Ashwin was standing at the door and his eyes briefly met Sivaangi's before he turned to his parents...

As he made his way towards his car he glanced back at the entrance and found Sivaangi's parents standing but to his luck their focus was towards his parent's car and not his...

Taking it as a chance he peeked a little and found Sivaangi near the door and gave her a quick wink making Sivaangi gasp in surprise...

This mischievous act of his along with his teasing eyes made Sivaangi's cheeks warm and look at him with blush-coated cheeks which made her look even more adorable...

With one last look he settled in the car and Sivaangi's heart fluttered as she watched his car leave... The wink seemed to carry a world of meaning and she felt a rush of emotions that she couldn't quite name...

Without thinking she turned on her heel and rushed to her room leaving her parents to assume she was upset about the situation...

The next morning.......

Sivaangi wandered through the familiar path leading to the pond lost in thought...

The soft rustling of leaves and the distant chirping of birds made the place feel peaceful as it had during their first meeting...

As she approached the water's edge she noticed someone already seated there... of course yes it was Ashwin...

He was lounging comfortably on the grass with his back to her... She approached quietly and settled beside him without making any noise....

Ashwin without turning to look at her spoke.....

Ashwin : So...
