Sivaangi : The first day I came here....

she started with her tone soft and contemplative and continued with a heavy sigh....

Sivaangi : It was the day my parents started bringing up alliances....

Ashwin's steps slowed and he walked a little closer to her with curiosity which Sivaangi didn't notice.....

She was too caught up in her thoughts and her fingers absently grazed the leaves of a low hanging branch as she passed by.....

She spoke her eyes fixed on the leaves continued with her voice a little stronger now........

She paused taking a deep breath as if the memories of that day were still fresh in her mind and as she spoke she felt like they were happening all over again...

she said and her eyes finally lifting to meet Ashwin's again.....

After a little pause she whispered

Hearing her Ashwin's eyebrows shot up in surprise.....

Ashwin : What?

he asked with his voice filled with genuine astonishment making Sivaangi smile a little.... a shy smile that made her look even more endearing.....

Sivaangi : Yeah....

she said with her gaze dropping to the ground for a moment before meeting his again....

Sivaangi : Even it was just for few minutes.... that few minutes we talked..... that small amount of time with u... it was really peaceful....

Ashwin felt his heart swell with warmth at her words.... He couldn't help but smile back at her a wide warm smile that made his eyes sparkle....

The way she spoke so sincere and open made his chest tighten with emotions he hadn't even realized he was holding back.......

They continued walking side by side now their hands occasionally brushing against each other..... Each accidental touch sent a ripple of warmth through both of them but they pretended like nothing happened and walked in silence....
