Souta, Kana, and Aina, the three heroes who murdered Makou and Reina. Riku "teleports" right to Souta and without a word swings both of his blades at him. However, Souta seems ready for him this time; a giant metal wall forms in front of Souta seemingly out of thin air, stopping Riku's blades. Souta makes sure to leave a nice big hole in the middle so he can smirk at Riku, who's blades are stuck in the iron wall. "Oh we're prepared for you this time, asshole."
Aina and Kana dash around the wall, ready to attack Riku from both sides. "Not only have we been training, but we all have top of the line magical equipment that increases our magic power even more. You're going down this time you bastard!" Souta cackles.
Kana moves in to punch Riku with her metal fist and Aina tries to blast him with a powerful, dense beam of light. Yet, Riku doesn't even look away from Souta, nor does he flinch. In an instant, a crystal and ice wall appear on his right and left, Kana's fist bouncing off of the ice and Aina's beam being deflected by the crystal wall.
"What the..? It's just ice! My fist couldn't-" Kana's words are cut short, for through the ice she can see a young man on the other side standing beside Riku, staring at her with murderous intent from the other side. She tries to bounce away, but all Haruto has to do is touch the wall and a massive pillar of ice instantly shoots out from the wall. Kana is able to shift her arms to metal quickly enough to block, but still gets sent flying back through the wall.
As for Aina, several other crystal structures form around her; almost like mirrors or panes of glass with how thin they are, and they bounce Aina's beam of light around until it eventually slams right into her. The resulting explosion is blinding to say the least. Gina's expression is blank, but the look in her eyes is dark to say the least.
"You really think you're the only one who's been training?" Riku mumbles, encasing his blades in magic and easily breaking free from Souta's iron wall. "I spared you last time for the sake of my dear family. I gave you a chance to walk away and turn over a new leaf. And yet here you are, standing in front of me again..." Riku fires a barrage of blasts into the iron wall, but it suddenly changes shape, turning into a liquid-like substance that Riku's magic isn't able to completely delete.
"You really think we'd just walk away after all you did to us?" Souta glares at Riku, the small spikes in his belts all popping out and flying into his hands. With his magic, he molds every metal spike together, altering their shape into a singular, long, sharp, and thin piece of metal. "I've been training every single day to be able to kill you. We're here for payback!" The liquid metal substance Souta seems to be controlling follows the movement of his thin metal spear, swirling around his body ready to strike or defend as he commands.
Riku doesn't even look the least bit bothered at Souta's new abilities. In fact, he couldn't really care less. "Payback..? You...want payback?!" Riku's aura grows, the intense, venomous urge to kill only growing stronger within him.
"Damn right we do, and we don't care if we have to go through your new friends to do it!" Kana shouts, flying through the wall she was launched through without so much as a scratch. Aina is revealed to have protected herself with a barrier of light, and she charged up several orbs of light while hiding in the smoke.
Before any of the three pairs can collide, a sudden thick wall forms in between the groups. "Jump back right now you three!" Kei says, his palm pressed against the wall. Riku, Haruto, and Gina do as he says and jumps back, several more layers of the same wall forming right behind the first to form one massively thick wall. The wall is so thick they can't even hear the other three screaming in rage behind it, but they do feel it shaking as they try to break it down.
"Kei, why?" Riku looks back at him, the same glare on his face, if only a little bit lighter.
"Because we don't have time to waste on those weaklings. You and I have a mission to do; take down the queen. You've already wasted a little bit of magic on the girl who was controlling the bees, no?" Kei crosses his arms.
