Griffin was still confused as to why Sathorn was super excited as Sathorn messed with the generator. He pulled out a battery and brought it out to the truck, grabbing out the solar panel system they used before, he set up the same system to charge it. He then looked around the garage, kitchen, and pantry to find some natural gas which to his luck there was quite a bit in the garage and some in the kitchen. He then connected the generator with the house's electricity. As Griffin waited for Sathorn to do whatever it was he was doing, he went out to check the pool again. However it still wasn't halfway full, Griffin sighed impatiently. After checking he went back inside the house and grabbed his sketchbook with the zombies in it. He then marked the ones he had remembered they killed as dead. If he wasn't sure he didn't mark it. After doing that for a little bit Sathorn came back into the kitchen which is where Griffin was. He grabbed the dictionary to look at a specific word before speaking "Generraytor... power house!" He said and this made Griffin excited. Would he finally be able to have power? It would be nice to have an air conditioner for once, it was very hot all the time here. He was getting used to the heat by now but he still didn't like it. Griffin nodded excitedly and then he decided to pull out his sketchbook. The rest of the day was spent with Griffin sketching and Sathorn trying to find the words in Griffin's story so he could understand what he told him. He only understood very little so he did his best to learn more. The next morning Griffin quickly checked the pool, which was about a little over halfway now, and quickly made up some breakfast. He wanted to go swimming right after breakfast so he did it quickly and then woke up Sathorn. They both ate their breakfast and then Griffin showed Sathorn the pool. Sathorn smiled, he wasn't as excited about that as he was the generator. Sathorn went to the truck, which he had set the solar panel and battery on, and brought the battery back to the garage, putting it into the generator. He also poured the natural gas in very carefully and then started the generator. It took a little bit to start it but it did start and then the house slowly powered on. Sathorn jumped up and down excitedly, and Griffin was very happy as well. He almost awed at the electricity because he hadn't had any for six years. After that Griffin pulled them both upstairs and he looked for some sort of swim trunks, thankfully he found four pairs, however two of them were child size and wouldn't fit either of them. There still were the two though and they fit them, slightly big but the string allowed for them to tighten it. The two boys then went downstairs, outside, and to the pool. Griffin jumped into the pool and was super happy. Sathorn, seeing how happy Griffin was, also jumped into the pool. It wasn't all the way so they were careful while jumping in. Sathorn started splashing Griffin who at first wasn't happy but then started splashing Sathorn back. This caused the both of them to start laughing. However, soon after starting laughing Sathorn stopped because he was too busy staring in awe at Griffin. His laugh and smile was so cute, he never felt this way before. The feeling of wanting to know everything about someone, finding their laugh cute, and wanting to be with them. He had dated quite a few people before but this feeling was new. In fact it just hit Sathorn that he forgot about even trying to get home because of how much he liked Griffin. Griffin had stopped laughing and stopped splashing, he realized he laughed. He was very confused on how he was able to laugh, he wasn't able to for so long. Even with his old friend. He looked at Sathorn and became concerned because Sathorn was just staring at him. "You alright?" he asked. "น่ารัก (Cute)" Sathorn said as he started to get closer to Griffin. He then got really close, and waited a few seconds before kissing him. Griffin stood there frozen, he wasn't sure what to do at first. He didn't pull away, he didn't know why but he didn't. After a few seconds Sathorn pulled away and backed away a little. They stood there in silence for a few minutes, neither of them knowing what to do now. Griffin was now confused, did Sathorn like him? Did he like Sathorn? His brain was overthinking about it a lot. He shook his head and splashed Sathorn again, trying to distract both himself and Sathorn. Sathorn knew he liked Griffin and was a bit confused on how Griffin felt about him. He looked at Griffin who was just lost in thought for a little while before he turned and splashed Sathorn. Sathorn wasn't sure what this meant but he didn't want it to be awkward between the two so the two continued swimming and splashing each other. After a few hours the two got out of the pool and ran inside to find a towel as they had forgotten to do that beforehand. After they found them they dried off and cleaned up the water trail they left. Griffin was still thinking about the kiss, he had been confused recently. He actually worried about another human and now he was laughing and smiling. Was it a coincidence? Was it just because he hadn't seen people in so long? After getting dressed Griffin went to make lunch, he wanted to try out the electricity so he made food inside the oven this time and he was very happy with how it turned out. They both sat in silence while eating, slightly awkward. Sathorn was scared he may have moved a bit fast and maybe should have confessed his feelings first while Griffin was confused about his feelings. Sathorn sighed and looked up at Griffin who then looked up because of his sigh. "I like you." Sathorn said in full english. It surprised Griffin a bit, "he must have practiced that ahead of time which means he has liked me for a little while." Griffin thought. Griffin nodded awkwardly, he wasn't sure what to say. He quickly finished his food and stood up, bringing his plate to the sink. "เฮ้! (Hey!)" He also stood up and went over to Griffin. "ผมพูดผิดหรือเปล่า? ทำไมคุณไม่ตอบผม? แล้วผมจะรู้ได้ยังไงว่าคุณรู้สึกยังไง? (Did I say something wrong? Why aren't you responding to me? How am I supposed to know how you feel?)" Griffin turned towards Sathorn clearly sensing he was upset. He knew he was probably asking about how he felt. Because Griffin didn't know how he felt this felt pressuring to him so he responded negatively "I don't like you." he said and went to his bedroom closing and locking the door. He had made sure to bring his sketchbook with so he would have something to do. However as he flipped the pages to find an empty one he saw the drawing of Sathorn he did and felt a bit bad at how he reacted. He quickly shook his head and turned the page to start sketching. He really did feel bad about what he said but he felt pressured to answer and he didn't have an answer. He was trying to figure out his feelings, "why can I smile and laugh now, why have I worried about him, why have I helped him, and why didn't I just kill him in the first place. Well the first time was because it was possible he was related to my old friend but was that all of it? Was that really the reason I was worried about him? Why did I laugh then? No no, there is no way I like him!" Ugh! He threw the sketchbook on the floor upset with how much he was overthinking this. The more he thought about it the more upset he got, he didn't want to like anyone. After a few seconds of trying to calm himself down he bent down to pick up his sketchbook, only to find what he had been drawing was a sketch of two people in a pool kissing. His face went a bit red and threw his head back groaning. He crumpled up the piece of paper, sighed again, and closed his sketchbook, he then went and unlocked his door. However when he went downstairs Sathorn wasn't in the kitchen anymore. He went into the living room, garage, pantry, and even went back upstairs to look in the other bedrooms. However Sathorn wasn't anywhere to be seen in the house.
