You're Such a Pain in My Ass
You're such a pain in my ass,
I want to tear up the grass.
You run through my head,
then leave me, just dead.
I can't think coherent thoughts,
the words on the page,
become meaningless blots.
I'm alone simply drowning,
you pull me up,
I sit there frowning.
How can I hate you,
then turn around and want you?
Is it Lust?
Is it a crush?
Could I ever find out?
It's a want, a need for trust.
Suffocation when I'm not with you,
contemplation when I see this new hue.
You're the biggest pain in my ass,
a bee sting, a spider bite.
The one I won't forget,
the mistakes I can't reset.
