As we entered the venue, I spotted Lexie immediately. Her eyes widened in surprise as she saw me, and her face broke into a radiant smile. I could barely contain my own excitement as I waved enthusiastically.

The ushers led us to our seats, which, to my surprise, were right at the front in the center. The view was perfect, giving us an unobstructed view of the stage. As we settled in, I couldn't help but notice how beautifully the venue was arranged. The tables were adorned with crisp red linens, each topped with a stunning flower centerpiece, and the soft glow of chandeliers above cast a romantic light over the room. The stage was set with vibrant colors, making it feel like a scene straight out of a dream.

As Angel and I enjoyed the delectable dishes laid out before us, I realized that Lexie was one of the performers for the event. The stage was bustling with activity as various performers took their turns to sing. Lexie was up there, captivating everyone with her presence and her voice. She sang with such passion and grace that it was hard to look away.

Every time it was Lexie's turn to sing, I made sure to capture the moment on video. Angel, ever the observer, couldn't help but tease me. "What are you doing, stop being so obvious," she said, trying to suppress a giggle. "Have some shame, everyone can see you. We're sitting right in front—can you at least try hiding your camera?"

I grinned sheepishly, trying to focus on the performance. "I just want to make sure I capture every moment," I explained. "Lexie's amazing."

During the time Lexie wasn't performing, she was waiting for her turn, I took the opportunity to wave at her and asked if she could pose for a picture. She obliged with a cute pose and a bright smile, her happiness infectious.

"Hello, am I your date here or am I the third wheel?" Angel joked as she watched me interact with Lexie.

The afternoon flew by in a whirlwind of beautiful music, delicious food, and joyous moments. Each time Lexie took the stage, she seemed to become the star of the show. As much as I enjoyed the food and the elegant setting, it was Lexie who truly stole the spotlight. Her energy and charm were undeniable, and I found myself feeling even more grateful for the chance to witness her shine.

As the event came to a close, I decided to make the most of the photobooth. I called Lexie over to join me for a picture. As she approached, she teased, "What do you mean you couldn't come?"

I smiled, trying to keep the surprise alive. "Well, surprise."

Lexie's face lit up with a delighted grin, and she eagerly posed for the photobooth. She even initiated a heart-shaped pose, making the moment even more special. Her willingness and accommodating nature only deepened my admiration for her.

After we finished with the photobooth, Angel and I left the venue, our hearts full of joy
