After staring at his beautiful eyes for what felt like an eternity I jumped off the wall and starting running like crazy.
"What if he recognizes you and kills you?" The devil in my mind spoke but it's not like I shot him so he should not come after me; or maybe he thinks I overheard their conversation and they were talking about drugs or smuggling so now he would kidnap me and sell me too or abandon me in the middle of the ocean. AAAAAA.... I don't wanna die right now, I haven't even finished reading my book yet.
With all the mess in my mind I finally reached the hospital to take the spare key from staff room cuz yes I dropped the key right in front of the wall before even running.Also, I can't work anymore I'll just tell Noah to fill in instead of me, then straight home - shower - sleep and I'll forget everything.
I was at the entrance of the hospital when I heard choas behind me. As a doctor, It would be damn wrong to have a patient on your back and ignore it, so yes they would be last patient today. Making up my mind, I turned around only to get shook to the core.... WHAT??
Why is that guy here ,I mean of course he is injured but why is my luck just getting worse today. Whatever, he needs to be treated, his men are literally shouting plus it's not like he would recognize me when it was complete darkness ( except the lightning, fuck).
I ran towards them, they all gave me a look and He was staring into my soul when I realized I was not wearing my coat, ugh, I showed him my id card and said," I'll be your doctor incharge" then without saying more we walked to the emergency ward, yes I was trying to run but he was taking a walk like in a park, so obviously i had to slow down. Seems like it happens to him often. He has been shot, he is bleeding on his shoulder but he is holding the cloth over it like on a small cut except the white towel is red with his blood.
Meanwhile, his dangerous men filled the form at the reception to which the receptionist looked like she was about to faint. Do they even know how to fill it?
I checked his injury and thank God it only hit the muscle not any vessel or heart but it seems like the other person purposely missed it. But....why?? Whatever, not my business. I dressed the wound - shifted him to VIP room, as expected - told him to rest and wow now I'm done and free today plus I think he forgot me or maybe didn't recognize me.
I was about to leave when he startled me with his voice," Nice to meet you again".
I'm telling you even I don't know how I'm looking at him without fainting.
