Tim certainly moved a lot faster than one would think.

Briar just smiled softly as she was getting ready for another movie photo shoot promotion. She broke up with that boyfriend obviously things were not working the way she wanted.

He didn't understand her like Tim would.

Time has definitely been kind to Tim. An entertainment world he was definitely making millions and enjoying life to the fullest. And his personal relationships, however he was struggling.

That's when he met Helena.

Tim fell in love with the beautiful woman that was so talented. But then... is when he started noticing the similarities between the two women. It was cruel to compare his new love for an old pastime.

Is that what Briar was to him?

An old pastime?

The one that got away?

All of the emotions he was suppressing suddenly it was all coming back to him when he saw her again standing near her car. And all of her beauty wearing a black dress with her hair neatly done as her curls were pushed away by her hair clips.

"A man of million thoughts." She said to him making him chuckle.

"Yes, there so much going on in here." He said pointing at his head.

He let her to the private area of his office where he already had 2 cups of tea prepared. She looked around at his home to notice that it really is just a big alter of his work.

"Helena. She's beautiful." She said to him with a sad smile.

He took a seat in his black office chair. She hesitant to say about his previous ex-wives. The way he treated them with some things she did not want for his wife.

"Don't hurt her like Lena and Lisa. I know you." She said to him with a glare.

He looked up at her to see her doll like eyes glaring down at him. He gestured with his left hand for her to take a seat.

"It'll be different with her. I care about her." Tim said honestly to her.

The two of them enjoy the conversation about their relationships and their careers. It was interesting to know that his career has definitely taken off in a good way. However, for her, it was still a struggling artist.

"I'm not beautiful in their genre."

It took him a back when she said that with a sad look in her eyes. It was the same eyes that had immortalized her and his work forever. It definitely irritated him, knowing that no one could see her beauty outside of dark fantasy.

"Everything you do has beauty but not everyone sees it." He said making her smile at his response.

Everything felt wrong for her.

She knew that the day was coming soon that he would find someone else that wasn't her. She sat on her friends couch with a glass of wine in her hand.

"Can a heart still break, once it's stopped beating?" She asked her friend, Johnny who sighed.

"You're being dramatic. Nothing ever happened between you two, you just stood friends for all these years." Johnny said sitting next to her.

He was always concerned for his friend, knowing that her heart always broke thinking about their mutual friend Tim.

However, she was thinking about what Johnny was saying. No one really knows what happened between the two of them. The public certainly doesn't know and neither does their close friends.

That only belong for the two of them.

Suddenly, a few years ago.

It was a very dark night, almost felt like the moon had disappeared. It was very chilly however she was not there for the weather.

She had one purpose that night.

She was at her lowest moment. It was definitely heartbreaking knowing that she wasn't booking as many jobs as she thought she would've. She understands that her facial features were not up to Hollywood standards.

It was just so heartbreaking.

There was no one in her life anymore other than her close companion, she met all those years ago. She had left him a letter saying goodbye.

She had found herself walking towards the end of a cliff wearing an all white dress.

A similar white dress that she wore when she used to work as a model for artist in training. A dress that resembled a wedding gown that had immortalized her.

She felt like she was in a trance.

She knew she didn't wanna completely walk off the cliff, but it was so tempting to end it all.

"Briar!"

She can hear her name being yelled out, however why didn't she wanna turn around to see him? Her eyes welded up and tears as they started falling down to her cheeks. She continued walking towards the edge.

"Don't leave me!"

She gasped when she was pulled in his arms tightly. She knew who it was once she felt herself completely collapsing, his arms sobbing.

"Come home with me."

They spent the entire car ride in silence, knowing what she could've had attempted in that moment. it was definitely awkward and concerning for both parties.

"Why?" He asked softly with tears rolling down his face.

She didn't wanna answer him, Instead, she looked outside the window from his car to see that it wasn't very dark outside. Instead, she could see how bright the moon and its full glory.

"I've spent so long in the darkness, that I've almost forgotten how beautiful the moonlight is."

He said nothing after hearing her response, and noticing that his companion that he was very close to spiraling down the path he couldn't reach.
