"Victor."

Briar smiled looking at the artist, he was so handsome and kind.

"I'm Briar." She said to him and giving him her hand.

The two of them enjoyed working together as she was starting to become a voice actress doing small roles in doubles, stop motion animation films.

What did she know her time with him was going to be cut short?

She sighed looking at him, Victor is truly a handsome man with sad eyes. it's surprised her knowing how much he resembled a certain man that she knows.

It's cruel to compare.

She was happy, her relationship with Victor has gotten to a point where it actually felt serious. Her career was going well.

She wasn't as famous as him.

But she was famous enough when she gotten a few roles that made her happy. Which led her walking down the streets of her home to see a little boy yelling holding flyers.

"New Film!" A little boy yelled out holding flyers.

Briar looked at the flyer to see it was his film. As she accepted it and gave the boy some dollars, it was a beautiful couple one was in a wedding gown. She looked blue and dead. The groom looked very similar to someone she knows.

"Corpse Bride?"

When she bought a ticket to see the movie, she could see so many people excited to watch the movie.

"It's so good!"

She could hear the fans and the audience and door his work. She was enjoying the movie with the soundtrack and artistic choices.

However, something felt wrong.

As she was really listening to the dialogue in the songs. As she analyze characters. There was a horrible realization.

The film was about them.

Suddenly, she was feeling very ill, watching the story unfold. It was a slap in the face. She had to relive the dark moments she had with him. What made it worse, is that she definitely look like one of the characters.

How unforgettable her eyes are.

"How dare you?" She yelled at him looking at the flyer she was handed.

Tim looked up at her to see her heartbroken face. He was very surprised to see his old companion.

She was beautiful as the day he left her.

Everything seems fade away as he looked at her again, her eyes broken with an angry expression on her face. That's the newest film he worked on, a flyer she was holding.

"I can explain." He said sadly.

How could he explain? He use their private moments and made a film that made him a lot of money. It had embarrassed her, knowing that their private conversations was for the world to see now.

No one knows it's about her.

How foolish.

He added gasoline to a burning house.

"How? You used me!" She shouted upset.

She tried so hard to not let the tears fall. As frustrated as she was, she knew that being with artist or loving artist, they were always going to immortalize their muse.

She is not his muse anymore.

It brought both of them back many years ago.

It has been a year since his marriage to the beautiful actress. It didn't surprise her when he announced that they were going to have their first child together. Love leads to a growing family.

Something he always wanted.

To be a father but it wasn't with her.

He knew it was wrong to call her, it was wrong to meet up with her. In her apartment on her couch. Taking sips of tea from her coffee mugs.

"You can't be here anymore." She said sadly.

Tim looked at her to see the sadness in her eyes. Her hands gripping the coffee mug so tightly that it could crack and break in her hands.

He feels like it would give him an excuse to touch her.

"It pains me knowing that we can't be companions anymore." He said honestly to her.

She sighed and rolled her eyes at his response. As much as it hurts her, she knows that seeing him is just gonna cost her more grief and pain.

"It will pass, the pain you feel isn't real." She said softly.

Who is she trying to convince?

Obviously, her saying that doesn't make her feel better. She wants him to have a good marriage and it clearly wasn't going to be with her.

"The pain here I feel, try and tell me it's not real. I know that I'm dead." He said to her.

She closed her eyes not wanting to see his expression. She could feel her heart aching, knowing that their relationship is going to have to disappear.

Almost like a butterfly leaving its cocoon.

That's why it pains her for the next sentence that she has to say. It has to be open, her feelings have to be known to him. Even if it's wrong, she has to know that she said it so she can finally move on.

Moving on from her oldest companion.

A pastime.

"I love you, Tim. But, you're not mine."

She knew that he was going to stay married to Helena. A beautiful woman with a successful career. It opened her eyes to shed some tears as she felt hand hold her hand.

"I'm so sorry." Tim sobbed out.

He had known the confession is definitely going to leave them in the dark path. Which would lead to them for not talking for a while until he created a movie to immortalize her once again
