the weather in paris increased by its temperatures and the bluenette could very much feel that.
it has been a week since she had run into the boy and gifted him the macarons which she told her mother that her friends liked them very much.
she just couldn't get it right, she saw his face somewhere before she just wasn't sure where.
walking down the staircase yet again she scratched her head, her nose was scrunched up and crinkles could be seen on the side of her eyes as she was in deep thought.
didnt adrien say the other day that paris x gen got a new player..? but who is he again and what's his name..
„ugh.." she lets out a painful grunt as she hits the side of her head as she walks into the bakery through the backdoor.
„papa! you watch soccer right..? surely you know the name of the newest addition of paris x gen?" she asks with a slight glint of interest in her eyes, her lashes fluttering as she super duper and with honey surrounded asked her father.
his head perks up, sparkles showing as he quickly started to talk about soccer to her but she waved him off with a childish pout.
turning to the counter she lazily puts on the apron, not realising that someone just came inside through the glass door.
turning her head down she began to type on the ipad, checking how much macarons they had as she mumbles, „just what is his name.. paris x gen.. surely i can remember it somehow!"
a chuckle was heard in front of her before a voice startled her even more, „it's julian."
her eyes look towards the voice, seeing non other than the boy she bumped into and the new player for the team.
her cheeks flush a vibrant red color as she turns around to slap her cheeks, trying to get rid of the embarrassment she just felt.
blinking a few times she turns to him with a heavenly smile on her beautiful lips, „bonjour! que puis-je vous offrir?"
his eyes widen at the switch up but quickly sent her a gentle smile, „i'll get two boxes of macarons, please."
she nods along his order, quickly typing it in before she accidentally - more like every second day - knocks a glass over that was next to the ipad.
as the glass fell she could already hear her mother yell at her to get a new one and her father snickering at her demise.
blinking she gently but precisely kicked the glass up with her right foot, the glass landing in her grasp as she put it back but softly shoving it further away so it wouldn't happen again.
„anything else? a coffee maybe? surely playing soccer can be tired.." she offers a slightly helpful tip.
he gives her a beaming smile as he shook his head, „no thank you. do you have any recommendations tho?"
she mulls over his question, taking a step back as she glancing over every treat they had on display with quick speed.
„i recommend our croissants, they are freshly baked every 2 hours due to its popularity and uh you know the bakery being in the middle of paris.." she trails off with a slightly awkward smile.
he nods his head, „then i'd like to take two of them as well."
she hums in confirmation, quickly typing it in before taking a glove and a paper bag, putting two inside she leans back a bit, seeing if her parents are looking but they were busy with baking.
quickly walking two steps to the side she puts two eclairs inside as well before sending the boy a wink and doing a shushing motion to him to which he chuckled at.
he surely wouldn't say no to free treats.
suddenly her mother came from the back, her eyes watching her only daughter as the said girl smiles at julian, „that would be 11,38€!"
„will you pay cash or with your card?" she asks with a cute smile.
„with cash.." he mumbled, handing her a 20€ note.
she takes the note with gently movements as she quickly did the math in her head in mere seconds before handing him back the coins and note of the change.
„you'll get 8,62€ back! be sure to come back soon!"
he quickly puts the change in his pocket before giving you a wave, taking the two boxes and the bag of croissants.
„aurélie! did you just give the boy two eclairs without letting him pay?"
the voice of her mother made her turn around only for the girl to stick her tongue out, her shoulders lifted as she looks away.
„aurélie!"
„papa! you always said to shoot my shot!"
the man huffed, looking out the glass window that was on each side of the door, giving a perfect view to watch the soccer player about to cross the street.
julian stood outside, noticing eyes on him he looks towards the bakery again and saw the father-daughter duo look at him as the girl points at him and said something to her father.
her mother only pinched the bridge of her nose, walking back with an exhausted expression but a smile still graced her features at the two she loved most.
when aurélie noticed that julian was looking at her she excitedly waved towards him, jumping up and down while she was at it.
he sends her a wave back before the light turned green for him and he disappeared down the streets of the busy city for couples and loved ones.
„papa! he waved me back, he totally wants me!"
„aurélie i dont think love works like that.." he tells her with a sweatdrop.
she pouts at his words, turning around and grabbing two eclairs before going back upstairs.
„call me when he's back!"
„élie! he was just here!" her mother calls back.
„well maybe he comes back for me then!" she shouts back before the door to their apartment shut.
the girl quickly going up the narrow stairs that lead to her room that was upstairs, picking up her phone from her desk she sat down on her bed.
the soft fabric caressing her skin like feathers as she fell on her back, typing to her childhood friend of the news as she always did.
such a strange connection yet it felt surreal to her as if heavens wanted to grace the golden child even more.
but lord did she open a door to a world she was already slightly part off only now she would dive into it fully.
