a few weeks went by that turned into a few months, the duo got close within the span of time and had many memories together.tommy - the corgi - was in almost all of them as well. the young dog never really wanted to leave either one's side and when julian was there he was glued to his side.
they were currently walking through the streets of paris as each held a coffee cup in their hand while aurélie held a shopping bag in her free one.
the corgi was walking besides the girl with only a collar on as he was well trained by now and to be honest never left either side of the two.
„so.. what your saying is that you'll be gone for a month..?"
her voice questioned the boy slowly as if she was proceeding the news slower than she usually does.
he gives her a gentle smile as he nods his head, „yeah. i have to go to japan and play with the other four world's best against the teams from that blue lock project."
when the project was named her eyes widen, switching her shopping bag to the one that held her coffee she whips her phone out quickly.
the bag was literally on her pinky and was about to fall off but the boy was quick to take it for her to which she thanked him.
„who are you texting?" he asks curious.
when she hit send she was quickly going to her photos to find the most recent ones of her friend.
turning her screen to him she points at the boy that was to the left, „my childhood friend lives in japan. he plays soccer as well although he is kinda mean to me and threatened to block me if i spammed him.."
„anyways, he takes part of the project as well! i'm sure you'll play against him then!" she continues.
„your childhood friend..?" it was new to him and he can't help but feel something in his stomach churning at an uncomfortable pace.
she nods her head as she puts her phone in her sling bag, „yeah i lived in japan when i was little and moved to paris when my grandpa died and gave the bakery to my mother."
„oh.. i'm sorry to hear about your grandpa."
„it's okay.. i mean he was the one that taught me everything i know about tennis but.. i wouldn't want to cry over him, he'd be pissed if he saw me crying instead of working on my career." she states with a small smile.
walking by a sports shop that was for tennis she looks at the many skirts and tops, her eyes then staring at a tennis racket as she stops.
