a ping was heard from her phone and a message was glowing in the dark room of the girl.

groggily she turns to the side, her hand searching for her phone as she patted everywhere before finally she had the rectangled form in her hand.

sitting up a bit she rubs her left eye with her free hand while her right hand held the phone up, unlocking it with her face id.

looking at the message her eyes grew wide and just on cue her mother opened the door to her room.

„aurélie! get ready quickly or else you'll be late for school! yet again.." she mumbles the last part as she closed the door behind her again.

she quickly jumped down from her bed, pulling out a brown pleaded skirt along with a white button up shirt, above that she wore a black cardigan with her school logo on.

quickly getting a pair of knee high socks she puts them on before scrambling down the stairs.

her mother just handed her a toast with honey on it and quickly put her water bottle into her bag, an extra one into her training bag before handing them both to her.

with the toast in her mouth and her bag on her right shoulder she was standing on one leg, balancing herself as she was quickly putting on her mary jane's.

giving her mother and father both a kiss on their cheek she rushed out of their apartment.

„will she ever be on time for anything..?" her father asked, his eyes wide from the thought of rushing everywhere he went.

standing on the side of the street she tapped her right foot in a rhythm on the stone ground, her head whipping from left to right to see when she could cross the street that was full of traffic.

finally seeing an opening she failed to take another look to the right and just started to run.

suddenly a hand kept her in place in the middle of the street as a car drove by and nearly missed her.

turning her head to the side she blended out the traffic that was happening around her, her gaze focused on the boy that saved her life.

„julian..?" she mumbles out.

he gives her a worried look, looking to the right as he took a step forward making the car halt and gesturing for her to cross the path quickly.

she did as he motioned and turns to look at him as he nodded thankful to the driver and his passenger who had a young child in the seat that was waving like crazy at the soccer player.

he gave the kid a smile and a wave as the father drove off before the boy's gaze went to the girl.

he took a hold of both her shoulders, looking her over to make sure she wasn't hurt as she just stared at him.

„are you alright? you could've gotten seriously hurt!"

she nods her head stiffly as she gave him a half smile that was a bit crooked, her hair was out of place but she didn't care.
