It was an ordinary evening at Riland's house, and Rilandetta, his loving yet slightly scatterbrained mother, had whipped up a big pot of spaghetti for dinner. The gang was all there—Jack, James, Cristena, and of course Riland—gathered around the table, eagerly anticipating the meal.
As they dug into their plates, the clatter of forks and the sound of slurping noodles filled the room. Everything seemed peaceful until Riland's face twisted in disgust. He paused mid-bite, staring down at his plate like it had personally offended him.
Suddenly, he shot up from his seat, slamming his fork onto the table. "DUDE! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?! THIS IS UNDERCOOKED!! COOK IT LONGER, MOM!"
The room went dead silent. Rilandetta, flustered and taken aback, stammered, "I-I'm sorry, Riland. I'll get to it right away..."
But Riland wasn't done. His face turned red as he bellowed, "YEAH! YOU BETTER!!"
Before anyone could react, Jack sprang to his feet, his eyes blazing with anger. "Do NOT yell at your mom like that!" he shouted.
And just like that, the peaceful dinner turned into an all-out brawl. Jack lunged at Riland, fists flying. Riland tried to defend himself, but Jack wasn't holding back. In seconds, James and Cristena jumped in too, unable to resist the chaos. Even Rilandetta, tired of her son's attitude, decided to join the fray.
Pasta flew everywhere as the kitchen transformed into a cartoonish warzone. Spaghetti strands tangled in hair, sauce splattered on the walls, and fists and feet flailed in every direction. Rilandetta swung a wooden spoon like a warrior, whacking Riland on the head. "You should've been nicer to your mother!" she yelled, landing a solid hit.
Cristena grabbed a meatball and hurled it at James, who ducked just in time, causing it to splat against the wall. Jack tackled Riland to the ground, yelling, "RESPECT YOUR MOM, YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!"
Riland, trying to crawl away from the pile of punches and kicks, screamed back, "SHE CAN'T EVEN COOK SPAGHETTI RIGHT!"
As the brawl escalated, they all became tangled in a chaotic mess of limbs and spaghetti. It was impossible to tell who was hitting who anymore. The fight went on for what felt like hours, with no one backing down.
Finally, exhausted and covered in pasta, they all collapsed onto the floor, breathing heavily. For a moment, they all just lay there, staring up at the ceiling, questioning how a simple dinner had turned into a full-blown wrestling match.
Rilandetta, with a spaghetti noodle dangling from her hair, let out a tired sigh. "Maybe next time, I'll just order pizza."
There was a long silence, then a collective groan. Despite the bruises, sauce stains, and sore muscles, a small, tired laugh escaped from Cristena. Soon, the whole group was laughing, even Riland, who finally admitted, "Okay, maybe I overreacted a little."
They all slowly got up, helping each other to their feet. The kitchen was a disaster zone, but the tension was broken. They dusted themselves off, deciding that maybe tonight wasn't the night for homemade spaghetti after all.
In the end, they ordered takeout and spent the rest of the evening cleaning up the wreckage, laughing and joking like nothing had happened. Despite the absurdity of it all, the incident somehow brought them even closer together—because nothing says friendship like a ridiculous food fight that ends with everyone covered in spaghetti.
