Chapter Nine

A/N! Hey guys! I had another chapter of Fluff planned where Jemma and Yoyo and Daisy throw Phil and May a gender reveal party, but I'm being lazy bc idk how to write it so I think I will put it in an upcoming chapter or go back and post that later. Anyway so sorry in advance!!

"Happy Birthday dear Sofi, Happy Birthday to you!" The team sang for the now three year old. Everyone cheered.

Phil kissed her on the top of her head, then kissed May on her lips, putting his hand in her hair before Daisy pulled him away and said, "You can continue what you were doing last night later when you get a room after your daughters birthday celebration."

May laughed and walked to cut the cake for the team. May was cutting the cake with Sofi's hand, and Daisy reached down and took some cream from the top of the cake and smeared it on May's nose as well as Sofi's.

Sofi did the same thing to her and she laughed.

Mack was taking pictures of Phil's amazing family and he was standing in the corner, so thankful for all of them.

Then May looked at Phil and said, "Dork, are you coming or are you gonna stand there and look lonely, like you don't have a loving wife?" She teased.

He beamed and walked over and kissed May while Daisy and Sofi were putting whipped cream on each other. Mack captured this moment of the family, and they would cherish it forever.

A/N, that was some Philindafamily fluff to make up for what's to come!

*** (In the lab with Jemma and Daisy)

"Hey Simmons?" Daisy asked waking into the lab.

Jemma looked up and excused herself from the other scientist and walked to Daisy, "Every thing alright?" She asked in her British accent. She could tell somthing happened by the way Daisy's teeth were gridding, her fingers were fidgeting, and the way her foot was tapping on the floor.

"Umm, not really. Can we talk?" Daisy asked nervously

"Sure, what's up?" Jemma responded in her usually peppy voice, but with nerves mixed in.

"In private" Daisy said not looking up from the ground.

"Of course" Jemma said hurriedly. She motioned for Daisy to follow her as she walked into the operating room/containment medical area. "Sorry, they are working on an important project so I didn't want to move them. Anyway, what's wrong?" Jemma asked concerned.

"I'm kinda nervous because I missed my period by one and a half weeks" Daisy said, still staring at the floor.

"Do you get a regular period every month?" Jemma asked, pulling out her clipboard. She flipped to an open paper and started writing.

"Yes, I even have the dates in my phone" Daisy said, slightly looking up.

"Have you been sleeping with someone recently?" Jemma asked questioningly.

"Mhm" Daisy hummed and nodded in response.

"Is it possible for you to be pregnant?" Jemma asked, looking completely empathetic.

"I guess," Daisy said looking back down at the floor.

"Are you on any birth control?" Jemma looked her up and down.

"I used to be, but it was giving me pain in my abdomen so I stopped" Daisy continued staring at the floor.

"That's a no then?" Jemma confirmed

"Yep" Daisy agreed

"Want to take a test?" Jemma asked writing on her clipboard

"Sure" Daisy nodded

Jemma walked over to a pantry and got the test out stealthily. Lucky for Daisy it was a plain white box it's some small fine print writing. Jemma pointed to the nearest bathroom and Daisy walked to it and Jemma waited outside. Jemma led her best friend back to the operating room/containment medical area and pulled out a chair for her. They waited 15 minutes in silence until Jemma phone beeped. She walked over to the test and her phone and picked her phone up, clicking stop on the timer then placing it in her back pocket. She then took a deep breath and picked up the test.

"It's positive. Your pregnant." Jemma said sounding strained.

"No, no, no, no, this can't be happening. Oh god" Daisy freaked out.

Jemma hugged her and said into her ear, "don't worry. All will be okay. You should tell the director and May though. And probably the father, also who is the father?"

"Thanks Jem. Robbie is the baby's dad" Daisy whispered.

"Ok babe. Get some rest, your probably tired. Come back later for me to check on you."

Sure. Thanks" Daisy said walking out. "Oh and Jemma?"

Jemma hummed in response.

"Don't you dare tell anyone else or you will suffer" Daisy threatened. "But thanks! I love you" she said, Totally changing her mood.

Jemma watched her as she walked out and brushed off the threat. She picked up the test and stared at it like they were having a staring contest. She grabbed a post it note and scribbled Daisy on it. She took a picture of it and the test with her phone and then scribbled 'check on her' so anyone who would find the post it note wouldn't suspect anything. Then she grabbed the test and dropped it in the garbage where all of May's positive tests were. Daisy's test would blend in.
