chapter 16 - clingy

Goobs pov:

Me and shrimpo were doing some puzzles together in my room but he said he was tired and went to sleep. I was full of energy and could not sleep, so i packed up my puzzle and sat down at my desk. I pulled out a peice of paper, a pencil, and started sketching, i tapped my hand on my desk thinking about what i could draw. By the time i finally figured out i wanted to draw, the garden veiw lobby btw, it was already 1am, so i started sketching away i started with the tree adding each little line and crevice and detail to the tree. I guess time really flys when you are super detailed like me cus by the time the tree was finished it was 2 am. thats how it went for the rest of the night, one section always took atleast an hour which took forever. By the time shrimpo woke up i was only halfway done. He was worried about me but i was fineee whats the worse that could happen. By the time it was 10 am and time for breakfast it was done, my masterpeice. I decided to go to the kitched to eat with the rest of the toons. I sat on a bench next to shrimpo with some pancakes as we ate. "Hey goobie did u finish ur drawing" he said, i still love his cute little nicknames. "Yea im finished it took all night but its done" i said. He seemed a little shokcked i pulled an all nighter just for a drawing but i still felt fine. It was not until we made it back to my room that the lack of sleep hit me.

Shrimpos pov: danggg i did not think goob had it in him to stay up all night, but you know i knew it was to good to be true cus then his clingyness kicked in. I try to go get water "nooooo dont leave me", i try to talk to ANYONE but him "come backkkkk". I do not know how scraps dealt with him for so long. All he wanted to do was cling next to me all day, and the worst part it was the time where me AND him are going to be on the same ichor extraction team. Today it was me, goob, and teagan, and rodger. Suprisingly it went smootly its just that he followed me THE WHOLE EXPEDITION, all he did was just stand near me. Luckily there were no hard to deal twisteds. But i have HAD IT with him today, once we get back up im telling him to go to sleep cus this was getting out of hand.

Goobs pov (he is still tired so it might sound weird):

Omg why does shrimpoo keep leaving meeeeeee. He keeps leaving to room and talking to other people, why not meeee. I swear if he does not just stay in the room for the rest of the day i will be pissed af. We get back to my room and he sits me down on my bed and starts talking, "goob i swear to god if you do not bot go to sleep right now im going to freak" he said angerly. Will you be here with meeee, i said in a complaining tone. He just simply said no and how it was only 5pm, like does he hate me or somthing. "Comeon pleaseeee come back and just come here" i said when i layed down on my bed.

Shrimpos pov:

Yk its funny how clingy he is when he is tired i mean he cant go to sleep without me, it is cute though. I convinced me eventually though and i just layed down next to him and kissed him on the forehead and no joke the second i kissed him, he knocked out. I just stayed there next to him and tried to force myself asleep. I finally fell asleep and we slept together till next morning. The next morning however he somehow forgot it all.
