Cigarettes at 3 A.M. (Masky x Reader)

Chapter 2

(first person pov)

A small slit of sunshine fell RIGHT on my eyes and woke me up. I hate those curtains.
I got up from bed and went to the washroom to piss, brush my teeth and wash my face.
I went to the kitchen downstairs and made myself some pancakes. While I was at it I checked around for any signs of my parents. I sighed. None.

That was good tho, I ate my pancakes in peace watching the news. I really dont like the news, but since I'm alone outside all the time and have no vehicle, I have to know whats up with the world so I'd stay away from murderers and stuff like that.

After stuffing my mouth with pancakes I went up to my room again, wore my usual school clothes (Wear whatever youd like <3), picked up my bag and left the damn house. Yes I locked it.

  "Y/N Y/N WAIT UP!! Y/N"
I stopped in my tracks and looked back, but only with my head.
  "Sup?"
Then I turned my whole body around.
  "Y/N you gotta stop walking so fast!!
I chuckled. This is my best friend Solana. We've been friends ever since first grade.
"Im sorry Im sorry."
"Sooo what you upto??"
"Nothing, really."
"Well I was thinking of going to annoy Zyaire right now"
"Oh my gosh YESSSS"
Zyaire was mine and Sol's number 1 victim when we were bored. We'd only see him at lunch break and P.E tho.

"And then I was like NO WAY HE'S GONNA DO THAT" He said as he stuffed a sandwich in his mouth.
Zyaire was a fun guy. He always had such interesting stories to tell us.
"And guess what?? He did. I cant believe Claire didnt tell the teachers, or something."
"Maybe she was scared. I know shes quite shy at times." Sol said.
I have no clue who Claire is.

Classes finally ended, and they decided on going to come with me to the café I worked in.
It was near our school so I decided on working there. It had a nice cozy interior and beautiful flowers outside.

"One strawberry cheesecake for Sol, and one plate of french toast for Zyaire" I chuckled, putting the plates down.
"Dude these are so good !!"
"YEAAA STRAWBERRIES YUM YUM"
I love my friends.

"Thanks for an awesome time guys, Ill be going home now~"
Solana and Zyaire stayed with me until my shift was over. They were working on some project they were gonna turn in at the end of the week.
I waved good bye to them, before walking back home. Once they were away from eyesight, I sighed and took out a cigarette from my pocket. I dont think they'd be uncomfortable with it, but I'd rather have no one knowing about it.

The sun was setting in the sky, the smoke mixing with the clouds. Today was windy, there should probably be rain tonight, I thought.
