[Fallin]
[Episode 6]"Fucking Vaulties..."
**********
"We really shouldn't be moving around so much," Y/n warned with a sing-song tone as he walked slightly behind the brunette, eyes scanning over Lucy, her hair a mess and her skin somewhat pale.
"We've got to keep moving," She fired back, not even looking at Y/n as she spoke and instead, just focused on her steps, not that Y/n blamed her because those steps weren't very safe or careful a few times now.
"I'm just saying that we don't know what you might have picked up during the travel with that ghoul and that you should be..."
"Over there!" Lucy cut Y/n off and ran towards the abandoned railway station, Y/n was confused at first until he saw the large mechanical suit that had a few RadRoaches crawling across it. It didn't take Y/n long to realise who that was, and he rolled his eyes. "I really want to trust you but I've had a rough week..."
Y/n got to the platform, turning to stare at the entrance, scanning for any movement, his mask gripped in one hand and his other resting on the trigger, his red monocle continued to zoom in and out, looking for any sign of movement. "Me too," Y/n heard the Knight say with a sigh. "What about him?"
"He's not really one to talk that much," Lucy explained after an awkward moment of silence with no one saying a single word. "You, uh, you remember the man I left with..." Y/n could hear it in her voice, she was getting weaker but he opted to put his bag down and slide the mask inside as he inspected his gear. "With the glasses and the, uh, w-whole body?"
"Yeah..."
"I'm looking for, uh, his head..." She explained and Y/n wasn't sure if it was because of what she had to say or because of her being sick but she sounded pretty unsure of herself. "That's why I'm here, that's um... I mean, that's why I'm passing through," She corrected herself quickly.
There was a moment of silence before Y/n heard a cough and then out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lucy buckle over and vomit. "Radiation..." Y/n mumbled as he turned his attention back to his briefcase, clenching it tighter as he tried to focus on his own stuff.
"You have radiation poisoning, I still have some Radaway left in the sleeve of my suit," The knight explained and Y/n rolled his eyes. "You can have it if you let me out..." He promised and at this point, Y/n could hear Lucy's rough breaths from where he was standing.
"I really want to believe you but practically every person I met up here has tried to kill me," Lucy explained.
"What about him, you trust him," He pointed out and Y/n knew the knight was talking about him.
"I didn't meet him up here... I... Um..."
Y/n spun around and aimed his wrist-mount. "NO NO NO!" A bullet was fired and hit the pin on the side of the face plate, the mask closing again and muffling the sound of the knight as Y/n made his way over to Lucy.
"Sit down!" He barked as he grabbed her and guided her over to the boxes that stood on one side, getting a few steps before Lucy's body went numb, passing out in his arms. "Lucy!" He yelled before growling and carrying her to the boxes and laying her down. Turned and made his way over to the suit, climbing up to the wheel and grasping it but stopped and leaned closer to the head of the Knight armour. "I'll let you out but if you even breathe wrong, I will grab the nearest pebble and use it to cut your limbs off, understood?"
The was a muffled response but Y/n didn't care so he turned his attention to the wheel and turned it, hearing the suit hiss and the open, the back separating an inch, giving him a moment to step back before the entire suit snapped opened and the knight stumbled out. He froze as he saw Y/n staring at him and in an instant reached into the arm of the suit.
