Claiming the dragon

Her pov

Finally my mother accepted our idea. Me, Jace and Luke were going towards our dragon to fly out. Soon we reached the dragon pit.

"We need to be quick and sleek. We can't be found by Aemond even before the attack" Jace said. "Yes brother" both me and Luke replied.

After a few moments we were all up in the air trying to figure out which direction Aemond was coming from. We quickly moved away from his point of view and hid within the clouds.

*Vhagar roars* Hearing Vhagar's roar we were alerted and were waiting for the right moment to attack. We caught both Vhagar and Aemond in surprise by coming from three different directions to attack at Vhagar's pulse points.

The fight between the dragons was fierce. Vhagar even though strong and experienced in war, was at a disadvantage by the team of dragons attacking it. Vhagar injured Arrax severely during the fight causing Arrax and Luke to fall from the sky.

"Help them brother, I'll take care of this till you're back"  I said to my brother informing him to help Luke first. He quickly turned around his dragon going down with a high speed to catch Luke before he fell down.

As I was focused on the safety of my brothers and I felt a sudden jolt. Vhagar had caught Baerax's neck causing Baerax to fight for her life. She tried to escape from the other dragon's hold to save herself and me.

.
Then in one swift movement I could feel Baerax's pulse slowing down as we were falling from the sky. "I'm sorry my little girl. Let's meet again in your next life" I say as tears stream down my eyes.

As I was falling down my head scarf came undone revealing my silvery blonde Targaryen hair. I was sure that I was going to die when I heard a voice.

"Visenya" I heard in my mind. Am I having hallucinations of my twin sister during my last moments I thought.
.
.
"Visenya" this time I heard clearer and louder.
.
.
That was the final thing Aemond said before speeding down with his dragon towards me. In a quick motion he caught me. "You are alive" he said in High Valaryian.

A little intro to the next chapter

"No one knew you were alive for all these years. So no one is going to know that you are still alive"

"Welcome to your new home princess" he said in a teasing tone while shaking me up. It was only after waking up did I realise that I am still alive and breathing. Also I am now a hostage of war.

A hostage who people thought died at birth. A hostage whose family only knows about her but will now think that she didn't survive the attack.

A hostage with no name, no identity.

Just his hostage.
