Her pov

Daenys pov
I opened my eyes hearing the creaking sound of the door opening. It was a very old iron door that made a creaking sound when opened.

I kept quiet as I heard the footsteps approaching near me. Slowly I heard the opening of my door.

I sat up quietly without any defiance only to meet him. My tormenter. My captor. My uncle. My cousin. My betrothed. Aemond Targaryen.

"Hello princess, did you miss me?" He asks in a mocking tone. As I keep quiet not having the energy to reply to him, I feel the bone shattering pain in my head.

"AHHHH... PLEASE STOP IT" I beg him. "You should've answered when I asked you princess" he replies in a haunting tone. "Now let me ask you again. Did you miss me princess?" He asks also immediately adding "Think before you answer princess, you don't want that pain again I'm sure" he taunts.

"Of... Of course, I mis..missed you" I i replied as I felt tears already gathering in my eyes. "Ha.. you know we should celebrate today." He says as I get confused. "Tch.. I hoped you would remember princess" He says dragging his finger along my jawline.

"It has been a year princess" He grins. "A.. a year?" I question. "A year since I found you" he adds.

I start sobbing after hearing his words. It has been a year and nobody in my family knows that I'm here. Nobody even knows that I'm still alive. Well nobody except him. My tears become uncontrollable.

He rushes forward to me holding my jaw, pressing it hard. "Stop crying" he orders. "Please let me go back to my family please" I plead to him.

"Who will you go back to princess? No one knows your alive. You're family searched for you but then accepted that you aren't coming back. No one except me knows about you" he grins evily.

This has been my routine for one year. Aemond comes to me almost everyday. Mostly after he meets his family, he comes here to vent it on me.

I always thought it was only Halaena, Jace and Me who had powers but Aemond's was the strongest of all. He had the ability to control his opponent's mind. He tortures me and gives me pain through mind control. He controls my mind to think that the pain is physical. He doesn't know that I also have telepathic power.

I was very weak after the war so I couldn't contact my brother. Then since Aemond started these mind control I became too weak to spend energy on telepathy.
