The last Goodbye

CH 1- The druken mistake

I stumbled through the crowded streets, my friends ' laughter and shouts echoing in my ears . We'd been celebrating my birthday all night , and I had way too much to drink . The neon lights blurred together, making my head spin .

"Come on ,let's go in here " my friend destiny slurred , pulling me toward a dimly lit alleyway ."it's a shortcut!"

I hesitated, but my friends were already stumbling into the narrow passageway.i followed , my heels wobbling on the uneven pavement .

As we made our way deeper into the alley , the noise of the Main Street fading away . I noticed a door with a faint light illuminating from beneath it . My friends pushed me towards it ,
giggling.

"Go on , birthday girl! open it " they chorused

I stumbled forward, grasping the door handle . It swung open , revealing a room filled with men in suits and sunglasses. The air was thick with cigarette smoke and hushed conversation.

My friends gasped , and we all froze , realizing we'd crashed a private meeting.

One man stood tall , his piercing gray eyes locked onto mine .For a moment, time froze . .he was stunning , with chiseled features and a strong jawline.

"Who are you ?" He demanded, his deep voice sending shivers through my spine .

I tried to speak , but my words slurred together . "W-we were just ....looking for ... the bathroom ...."

The man raised an eyebrow. " you're not supposed to be here "

My friends pulled me back , but I stumbled forward , trying to apologize . "I-m ... so sorry .... We didn't mean too "

The man's gaze never left mine . " you shouldn't have come here "

Suddenly , the room erupted into chaos. The men scrambled to leave and we were pushed aside . I climbed out into the night , gasping for air .

As I emerged from the alleyway , I felt a hand on my shoulder . "You shouldn't have been there ." The man whispered, his breath hot against my ear .

I spun around , meeting his eyes .

His eyes seemed to bore into my soul , like a cold ,dark drill piercing through my very being . I felt a shiver run down my spine as he stepped closer , his presence suffocating. I tried to step back , but my legs felt like jelly , and I stumbled

"Whoa , easy there " he said , catching me by the elbow , his touch sending shivers down my spine .

I nodded ,   Unsure what to say . My voice caught in my throat. His gaze seemed to hypnotize me , drawing me in with an otherworldly pull , like a moth to a flame .

"I think you saw more than you're letting on," he continued, his eyes narrowing, his voice dripping with malice. "Tell me, what did you see in that room?"

I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal, my head spinning from the alcohol. "I...I saw...stuff," I slurred, my words running together.

Luka's eyes flashed with interest, his smile growing wider, revealing razor-sharp teeth.

"Go on," he urged, his voice dripping with anticipation, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light.

I took a deep breath, the words spilling out of me like a confession, my head spinning.

"I saw...money...and...and...other things," I stammered, my words slurring together.

Luka's face went still, his expression unreadable, his eyes glinting like ice. For a moment, I wondered if I'd made a mistake, if I'd revealed too much.

But then, a slow, menacing smile spread across his face, like a dark, sinister flower blooming in the night.

"You're quite the little detective, aren't you?" he whispered, his voice full of malice. "But I think it's time we got to know each other better. What's your name?"

I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal, my head spinning. "M...Mayuami," I slurred, my words barely audible.

Luka's eyes flashed with triumph, his smile growing wider, his gaze burning with an otherworldly intensity.

"Mayuami," he repeated, his voice dripping with possession, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light. "I'll never forget that name. And soon, you'll never forget mine "
