Luka
I gazed at Mayuami, her fragile form a stark contrast to the darkness that lurked within me. I had taken everything from her - her freedom, her life, her hope.
And yet, as I looked into her eyes, I felt a twinge of guilt. It was a fleeting emotion, one I quickly suppressed. I had no room for weakness.
My mind wandered back to Destiny, the girl who had dared to defy me. Her fate served as a reminder of the consequences of crossing me.
But Mayuami was different. She was a pawn in a much larger game, one that I controlled. And I would stop at nothing to achieve my goals.
I leaned in, my voice taking on a menacing tone. "You see, Mayuami, you're mine now. And I always get what I want."
Mayuami's eyes flashed with fear, but I just smiled. It was a cold, calculated smile, one that hid the turmoil brewing inside me.
For a moment, I thought of Destiny, of what I had done to her. A pang of guilt threatened to surface, but I crushed it beneath my heel.
I had no time for regrets. Only power mattered. And I would do whatever it took to maintain mine.

I left Mayuami in the room, my mind still reeling from the encounter. I made my way to my father's study, knowing I had to face him.As I entered, my father's gaze pierced through me like a dagger. "Luka, you're a disappointment," he spat, his voice venomous. "You let emotions cloud your judgment. That girl is a pawn, nothing more."
I stood tall, my expression neutral, as he approached me. His fist connected with my face, sending a shockwave of pain through my eye.
"You're weak, Luka," he sneered, his breath hot on my face. "You need to learn to control your emotions, or you'll never be worthy of leading our family."
I took the hit, my eyes locked on his, my emotions locked down tight. I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing me break.
"Luka, you're a failure," my father spat, his voice dripping with venom. "You can't even control one girl. What makes you think you can lead our family?"
I stood tall, my expression neutral, as he berated me. "I'll get it done, Father," I said, my voice firm.
"See that you do," he snarled, his eyes flashing with anger. "Or you're no son of mine."
I nodded, my jaw clenched, as he continued to rant. Finally, he dismissed me with a wave of his hand.
I left the study, my eye throbbing from the punch he'd landed earlier. I made my way back to the house, my mind racing with thoughts of Mayuami.
When I entered her room, I was met with a sight that made my heart skip a beat. Mayuami was curled up on the bed, sobbing uncontrollably.
Mayuami looked at me with a mix of concern and amusement with tears still in her eyes . "Well, well, well. Looks like karma came knocking on your door, didn't it?" she said with a smirk.
I raised an eyebrow, surprised by her sass. "Shut up, Mayuami," I growled, wincing as she applied the cold compress to my eye.
"Oh, poor baby," she cooed, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "You can dish it out but can't take it, huh?"
I glared at her, but she just laughed. "You're an asshole, Luka. But I'm still going to help you because... well, I don't know, maybe I'm a glutton for punishment."
Mayuami's hands moved deftly as she cleaned and bandaged my eye. I winced as she poked and prodded, but she just chuckled.
"Aw, come on, tough guy," she teased. "You're not so scary when you need something, are you?"
I gritted my teeth, not responding. I didn't need her to know how much her words stung.
"You know, I never would have pegged you as the type to need a little girl's help," she continued, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "But I guess even big bad mafia men need a little help sometimes."
I felt a surge of anger at her words, but I kept my mask in place. I wouldn't let her see me crack.
"Just finish up," I growled, my voice low and even.
Mayuami raised an eyebrow but said nothing else, finishing up the bandage with quick, efficient movements.
As she stepped back, I caught her gaze, my eyes narrowing. "Don't think this means anything, Mayuami," I warned, my voice cold. "I'm still in control here."
She smiled sweetly, but I saw a glint of something else in her eyes. Something that looked almost like... understanding.
But I pushed that thought aside. I couldn't afford to let my guard down around her. Not even for a moment.

I walked into my room, slamming the door behind me. I needed a moment to myself, to clear my head. Mayuami was getting under my skin, making me feel things I didn't want to feel.I poured myself a drink, taking a swig of the whiskey as I gazed out the window. My mind was racing, thoughts of Mayuami swirling in my head. I didn't know what it was about her that got to me, but I needed to shake it off.
I couldn't afford to feel anything for her. She was a prisoner, a pawn in my game. And I would use her to get what I wanted, no matter the cost.
As I stood there, lost in thought, I heard a knock at the door. It was one of my men, come to give me an update on our latest dealings.
I listened intently, my mind focused on the task at hand. But even as I gave orders and made plans, I couldn't shake the feeling that Mayuami was still in my mind , And I couldn't help but wonder what secrets she held, what mysteries lay hidden behind those piercing green eyes.

I lit a cigarette, taking a long drag as I walked into the dimly lit warehouse. My men were already there, surrounding the traitor who had been causing us problems."Ah, Luka," the traitor stammered, his eyes wide with fear. "I can explain..."
I raised a hand, silencing him. "You're a dead man," I said, my voice cold. "You just don't know it yet."
My men moved forward, their faces twisted with cruel grins. I watched, unmoved, as they began to work on the traitor. I took another drag on my cigarette, feeling the nicotine coursing through my veins.
The traitor screamed, begging for mercy. But I just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. Mercy was a weakness, and I had no use for it.
As the minutes ticked by, the traitor's screams grew hoarse, his body broken and battered. I nodded, satisfied, and took one last drag on my cigarette before stubbing it out.
"Finish him," I said, my voice dripping with malice.
My men moved forward, their knives glinting in the dim light. I turned away, not watching as they ended the traitor's life. I had seen enough.
As I walked out of the warehouse, I felt a sense of satisfaction. I had taken care of the problem, and I had done it with ruthless efficiency.
But as I got into my car, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was still thinking about Mayuami. I cursed under my breath, trying to push her out of my mind. I needed to focus on the task at hand, not get distracted by a woman.
I lit another cigarette, taking a long drag as I tried to clear my head. But even as I drove away from the warehouse, I knew I was still thinking about her.
