"So"Adhay asked. Adhay was a patient man, but the contidion is he not with his family. When the patience levels come for family it gets thin to thinnest.
He can't live in silence with Ekansh. And Ekansh was making it worse for him. He literally pushing him to edge that in end Ekansh will be blasting on him, or he would be in his den or argh.
I'm getting madder.
"What you want to ask, Adi?" Ekansh said straight forwardly.
".. meine kuch galat kiya hai? I can feel jab se you have met Ishaan you're not .. you are behaving different" Adhay said looking at him, but couldn't said it meeting his eyes. Ekansh didn't said him anything yet Adhyah couldn't ignore the self doubts he had for himself.
"Nahi beta." He replied in a heartbeat
" I'm just not in good frame of mind.. aur iska reason Tu ya .." Ekansh paused and looked back his file "woh nahi hai.." Adhay nodded, he wasn't satisfied. Not an inch.
He love Self doubting himself . Like it was his forte to do. Ekansh sighed as he looked at the boy, he was lost, "aaj joh meeting mein hua... the way you bargained I didn't like a bit." Ekansh said truthfully and Adhyah bit his upper lip in nodding his head.
He knew.
"I" he tried to reason out but he couldn't. He can never cut the conversation when it's Ekansh.
"What you felt he is something to me... issliye you gone that way. Was it or it was the actual thing."
"Haan Mujhe laga"
"That doesn't mean you will do that...professionalism and emotions should be separate. It's not now happening next time. May I accept that from you." Ekansh asked and for Adhay it was a command. A command from his idol, his brother and his only family.
"Ji. It won't be happening again." Ever. The last word was not loud but a swear to himself. Ekansh nodded. The seed of self doubt raised more in Adhay.
"Am I that dominant ki you never question me back." Ekansh asked and Adhay didn't know what to reply, he felt again back to square one.
He was fidgeting what to say what to not. What if he said something which he shouldn't? What if baba didn't like the interference of him in his life?
"Meine uska wait karunga yeh bola Meine .... Won't you ask me why I said that. Won't you counter back ki was it professional behaviour?"
"Aapne bola hai and I'm sure there will be reason baba. Whatever I'm here if you... aapne idol pe Kaisa question baba?" Adhay said honestly, it was what it is. He said it and Ekansh felt his heart sank.
The respect Adhay had of him in the eyes, was a way more to resist. This feeling was utterly surreal new for him too.
Ekansh felt out of sudden he was betraying Adhay. He was betraying the trust the worship of him.
The silence stretched from seconds to minutes. None spoke a word against.
With swallowing the thick air,
"That boy is very close to me just the way you" Ekansh said while kissing Adhay forehead
"I have one more brother apart from you u..." Ekansh started, he never there will be one day come like this. As Last he knew Shekhawats was a closed book.
The book which was never to be opened.
The name was the last piece he carried with himself, that too for a reminder a harsh reminder to him like a harsh slap on his face. To feel it each second of passing breath and make sure he belong to that bloodline.
Adhay looked at him baffled. The man never shared his family, was now opening without any thing asked.
"Ishaaan Shekhawat" Ekansh said. "Today the person we met is ..." he shuttered, "Humara bhai hai..."
"He is your brother?" Adhay asked to confirm what he hear was correct or something in between he missed out. And Ekansh nodded with "OUR BROTHER"
