Seven || Alex 'Gossip' Summers

"I knew this would happen!" Alex says proudly as I pace around his room while he is comfortably sitting on his bed.

"You're not very helpful." I shake my head as I stop to glare at him.

"What do you want me to say?!"

"I don't know!" I sigh and sit next to him on the bed, "Why did I even come to you? Should've gone to Raven."

"I am really getting offended here, are you thinking to replace me with Raven?" He throws a pillow at me which makes me laugh.

"Maybe, I'm sure she could give better fashion advices ." I glare at him.

"I am a fashion icon, you just don't understand my style."

"If you say so." I shrug my shoulders and throw him the pillow back, hitting him right in the face which makes him fall back on the bed. "Damn, and you fight? I understand why Scott doesn't ask for your help."

"What's today? National Let's-insult-Alex day?" He huffs and throw the pillow at his side.

"That would be a good National Holiday, right after the Let's-insult-Hank day." I nod.

"Hank will get his revenge on us someday." He sits back up, "Maybe right now he's in his laboratory plotting something evil to do to us."

"Maybe we deserve it."

"We definitely do, but what if he finds a way to turn me like him? My personality is my looks, I can't loose them." He moves an hand in his hair, glancing at himself in the mirror on the other side of the room.

"Okay, Narcissus, try and not drown into a lake while you're looking at yourself." I chuckle.

"I almost did once."

"What?" I look at him shocked.

How the hell is this guy an X-men?

"I was walking in the city and saw my reflection in a shop's mirror, almost got run over by a guy on his bike."

"I think you need...I don't know I can't even finish the sentence, and I always have a comeback!" I point my finger at him.

"I just made Lauren Austin shut up? Am I the chosen one?" He looks down at his hands with wide eyes and wide open mouth.

"Be glad that I can't use my powers on you without killing you."

"You can't or you don't know how to?"

I glare at him, "I've used my powers only to kill and modify objects to turn them into something else, I don't know what else I can do."

"Then ask Hank."

"Hank?"

"Yes, Hank, he's a scientist, maybe he can help."

"I don't want to ask Hank."

"Put your pride aside and do it."

"You're the one talking about pride?"

"I'm not the one who doesn't know how to use his powers...Not anymore at least."

I roll my eyes and stand up, "Fine, I'll go and ask Hank."

"I'll come with you, wouldn't miss this for anything in the world."

"Hank, are you there?" I ask as I enter his laboratory.

"What the fuck!" Alex and I say at the same time as we see Raven and Hank - both in their human form strangely - kissing.
