Baelys had often wondered what would happen if her mother had lost the war. But she had never imagined it would be like this, she never imagined that she would be her uncles captive. That she wouldn't have any idea if her baby brother was alive or not.

She never really thought her mother would lose and yet she had watched her mother be torn apart by a dragon. The very same dragon that had helped take her grandmother away from her.

It had been three days since she had watched her mother die. And in those three days, she had only seen the same four walls. She had been told to thank the king for his kindness, on giving her chambers. But she had stated that "She would rather die, then thank him"

And that was the last time she had spoken to anyone, a few maids came and went. But they had been ordered by Aegon not to speak a word to her and to keep their guard up.

She wouldn't admit it, but she had thought about just jumping out the window. Whether she died or not. she would be far gone from Aegon, by the time anyone found her.

She let out a soft sigh looking out the window, the sounds of a dragon roar could be heard throughout king's landing. They had not stopped since Baelys had been taken captive and her dragon....one of the last of them, had been chained up near the ruined dragonpit.

The princess has lost all hope and knew she would soon join her mother.

"My council wishes for me to take my niece to wife" Aegon muttered watching his mother walk around her chambers. She was the last of his family if he didnt count his daughter or the traitors he was holding captive.

The dowager queen scoffed "What next you wed Jaehaera to the boy or you could name the young boy your heir"

"That is out of questions, I do need heirs and my niece holds Targaryen blood"

"You forget she is also the last of Rh-of her bastards"

"What would you have me do mother"

"Everyone would happily watch the girl be put to sword, just as I know you would"

"And yet you were the one, who pleaded for me to spare her"

"Aegon I watched her admit she has no true claim to the throne"

"She has a dragon"

"Which is in chains"

"The b-"

"The boy would not have any true claim if you married her." Alicent admitted "Rhaenyras  only living daughter"

"Then I shall wed her"

Baelys had remained in the same spot for hours, looking out the window into the ruined city. She hated how everyone blamed her mother for what had happened and she hated how the townspeople had slain most of the dragons.

She feared for her own knowing where her dragon was being held. Anyone could easily find her dragon and slay them as they did the others.

She jumped slightly as she heard a voice, not noticing beforehand that someone had walked in.

"Princess, I would be careful if I were you" Larys Strong spoke.

She didn't need to turn around to tell it was him, but she did. The first person to speak to her in three days just had to be him. She just had to be reminded of her father and what she truly was.

"Your king never said I couldn't look out the window" She muttered "I wouldn't fall"

"And yet our late Queen Helaena had that very fate"

At the mention of her aunt she looked away. Helaena had been pure, she had been innocent just as Lucerys had been.

"The king wishes to wed you princess" Lord Larys stated as he looked her up and down.

There was no longer life in her eyes. She had watched her mother die only three days before. She had been dragged away from her baby brother and half sister. Not knowing if they were alive or if she'd see them again. Then she had been forced to admit she was nothing more than a bastard. That she had no claim to the iron throne.

When she didn't answer Larys tilted his head. He may have helped make agon king, but he knew better than anyone else. That a mad king, was no king at all.

"Wed the king princess and perhaps you will see the young prince once more" Those words made Baelys turned her attention onto the strong lord. The man who was her uncle by blood "So I shall ask again, will you wed our king"

Her brother was alive......that had given her some small piece of hope. But the idea of wedding her uncle, her mothers killer was out of the question......but then again her brother was still breathing.

Her voice was that quiet and sore. From screaming and crying while she watched her mother die that he could barely hear her ... .but he did hear her.

"Yes"
