When Junior showed up to the scene eventually finding where to go, he saw his father being put in the back of an ambulance. He saw his god father next- all he could do is stand there. "Sir you have to leave the scene" a cop tried. He didn't budge- how could he? His father was in the back of an ambulance. The two men he thought were honestly untouchable were in worse shape he's ever seen anyone in- well besides the man he saw head splattered on the pavement. He looked around and tried to catch his breath- he couldn't. He tried to follow the one EMT with his father but another person stopped him. "Sir you can't be back here" they reassured but Dj kept trying. Trying to get a better glance at his father trying to understand why they were doing CPR on Nassiah. He was confused, it's like everything was spinning and he was trying to slow it down so just for second  a clear picture.  When the next person tried to remove him from the scene Dj snapped-

"Fuck off me" he yelled "that's my father- I have to get to my father" he started and slung everyone's hands off of him forefully. He pushed through bodies trying to get to his dad.

"Sir- if you don't calm down we will cuff you! This is an active cr-

"Leave him, he's with me. Let me handle it" Alonso's dad, still hurting from his daughter. Now hurting for his grandkids and son understood everything Dj was feeling. He put his hands on the boys shoulders and turned him around.

"We will meet them at the hospital- do you hear me? We will meet them there- they need all the help they can fit in that ambulance" Alonso's dad tried but Djs eyes stayed on his dad as they closed the ambulance door. "Do you know who I am son?"

"Alonso's dad?" He questioned softly. "Not the dead one- you was just at the house"

"Right right- I was just at the house.. now who's this?" He asked as Rj stood behind Dj.

"My names RJ sir- I'm Alonso's younger brother- I came from Atlanta" he started and Alonso's dad exhaled slowly.

"Dj- can I call you that? Dj where is everyone else? Where is your aunt? king and them?"

"They safe" he mumbled watching both ambulances leave, his eyes finally went to the old man who was trying to find information. As much as he could. "They at Maurice house safe- out the city"

"That's good- okay so me you and Rj are going to go to the hospital. We will get in my truck I'll put the lights on and we will get there fast okay?" He explained and Dj nodded. He closed his eyes trying to calm his nerves but deep down- he needed to get high. A blunt wasn't going to do it. He was scared of going to the hospital- scared of stealing pills someway some how. But he also thought of what his dad would say, how he would look at him so instead he just got in the car like the man asked "I need you to call Tas'hania- keep her updated. Tell her about Nassiah so if she wants she can meet us there"

When Alonso finally got to Maurice house he didn't even know what to do, the girls happily playing in the yard they watched the car pull up. Tash looking as if she saw a ghost watching them play. Naylani and King were inside doing homework- that's what she told herself at least they could've been doing anything. She couldn't focus she just made sure the kids were safe. She did that. She got the call from Dj and then from Alonso almost back to back. She couldn't think- she thought not knowing where they were was bad- now they knew where they were and she couldn't wrap her head around it. Year after year her yelling at them for being stupid- for running into shoot outs for doing dangerous stuff. She should've yelled more- she should've went with them. All she know is she hoped they were okay- who was Tash without her hot headed brothers? How can she be the voice of reason if they aren't there to be unreasonable.

Alonso didn't have time to say anything to Tash, the twins were running and smiling to jump into his arms. "Daddy! I missed you so much" they started telling him everything he missed. He tried to put on a facade and be happy. He really did miss his kids but all he could think about his husband. It's not looking to good. Those words punched holes through his chest- it's like the worst had happened. Tash got up slowly seeing Alonso- she was ready to go. Maurice said he would watch the girls so they could both go, he agreed to watch the older two too.
