I was walking into Estelle's newer gym, the one Thomas used to train the younger students. Aly and I were going to talk to the kids and tell them the importance of training and going to show them our medals.
As Aly and I walked in I saw Estelle sitting in her office and she smiled seeing us walk in. She rushed over and hugged us.
"My girls! I have missed you both these past few weeks." Estelle chuckled and we laughed.
"Actually, I have missed you yelling at me to do something again. It's like I do something wrong at home and I hear you in my head yelling." I joked and Estelle smacked my arm.
"Did you guys ride together?" Estelle asked and we shook our heads.
"No, I drove myself from my own apartment." I said and Estelle looked at me shocked.
"Own apartment?!"
"I became a grown up and moved out of Aly's." I said causing us all to laugh.
"And we miss her. Mom and dad miss Bruno too and are talking about getting a dog." Aly said and I smiled.
"As they should." I said.
"Well, if you guys are ready, Thomas is getting all the kids together. We also have the screen set up. We are going to show them some of your training videos and the Olympics again." Estelle said and I groaned.
"I haven't watched the Olympics yet..." I said and she smiled.
"Do you want to?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Well, we can talk in my office while he shows the videos if you want." Estelle said and I nodded.
We walked over and the group of about 25 little kids and we smiled at them and waved as Thomas introduced us.
"Hey guys!" I said excited and they all said it back.
"So, we are here today to talk and answer any questions about the Olympics or gymnastics you might have. Then we are going to watch some videos of Aspen and I practicing and in competition." Aly explained and they all cheered.
As the video was being played, I walked to Estelle's office and knocked on the open door and she smiled.
"Come in and take a seat." She said and I smiled doing as she said. "You miss practicing every day?" Estelle asked and I laughed shaking my head.
"Nope, sorry. I even like eating and drinking the food I missed." I said and she smiled.
"Well, what are the plans now?" Estelle said and I shrugged.
"I mean I know I'm done, I know I'm retired. I accomplished what I wanted, and I figure there's no need to keep going." I said and Estelle nodded.
"Well, you moved out of Aly's, on your own...a boyfriend back in your life maybe...?" Estelle asked and I sighed.
