**A MONTH AND A HALF LATER**

I was working at the gym. I was cleaning it up, clearing everything out when my cellphone started ringing.

I rushed over to where I left it and saw it was Chris.

"Sorry babe, I'm busy." I said out loud and sent him to voicemail. I didn't like doing this but I was on a roll getting things done and cleared.

As I continued to work I heard the door open and Bruno, who was hanging with me went running to the door excitedly barking.

"Yeah she is here, working, like you guessed." Scott said as I turned to look at him. I placed my hands on my hips and rolled my eyes.

"Can you put her on the phone please?" I heard Chris ask since he was on speaker phone. I snatched Scott's phone away from him, took it off speaker as I walked away.

"Hi." I said trying not to sound annoyed.

"So you ignore my calls an hour ago. I called twice and was texting you." Chris said.

"I'm working Chris! Same thing you are doing only mine is a little hard and takes a little more effort." I snapped.

There was a silence. I knew maybe I crossed a line but he upset me by sending Scott to check on me.

"Are you alone?" Chris asked.

"Yes."

"Are you moving equipment? You could get trapped under it if it fell!" Chris snapped and I huffed a laugh.

"No Chris! I'm moving and cleaning mats today and planning out how I want things to be set up when they get delivered in a couple of days. I told you all of this 2 days ago when we talked." I said.

"I've been a little busy filming a movie and remembering lines Aspen, sorry if I can't remember every little detail you tell me about your stupid gym." Chris snapped.

I had been pacing and I stopped in my tracks.

"Stupid gym? STUPID GYM?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" I yelled and Chris groaned.

"I didn't mean it like that -..."

"How can you possibly mean it Chris?! You said what you said! How would you feel if I said that about your movie?!" I asked and Chris didn't say anything. "Yeah, exactly!" I snapped.

"Aspen, please...I really don't want to fight with you." Chris groaned.

"And that wasn't my plan either but yet you opened up your damn mouth. All because, what I ignored some calls and texts? I would have called you back later Chris."

"Well maybe I just feel like when both of our time is limited you should answer your phone when I call. I mean you can take a break from what you are doing...I don't have that luxury of making my own schedule." Chris said.

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Chris, please understand this crap you are pulling right now is making it sound like you don't support me. Do we need to go through this again?" I asked.

"I never said I didn't support you Aspen, for the love of god! I'm just saying what you are doing right now isn't as important as what I'm doing and you can take a break when I call, I'm sure of it." Chris said.

I couldn't take anymore. I pulled the phone away from my ear and hung up on Chris. I walked Scott's phone back over to him and placed it in his hand.

"Thank you from bringing the phone with Captain dumbass on it. If he calls you back wanting to speak to me again, please do not worry your pretty little head and come down here. He needs to fucking learn a lesson right now." I said.

"Aspen -..."

"No Scott! He crossed a line! He said something he can't fucking take back and he is lucky I'm not breaking up with him again." I said and Scott groaned.

His cellphone started to ring again. We both looked at saw it was Chris.

"He is going to want you." Scott said.

"Well he can keep wanting as you walk out the door." I said.

"Really?! Are you mad at me now?" Scott asked and I sighed and hung my head.

"I'm just mad Scott. Please go." I said and he just half nodded. I heard him answer the phone as he left. I could hear what he said to Chris but it didn't sound pleasant.

I went back to cleaning some mats but I was just getting angrier and angrier as I did. After an hour of just getting pissed off I packed up and I left with Bruno to go home.

Once I arrived home with the fast food I picked up on the way I poured myself a glass of vodka and just sat in the living room on the couch pissed off.

Chris was doing it again. He said he would support me with the gym and stand behind me with whatever I decided to do and then he called it stupid today. Then having Scott come to the gym because I didn't answer his calls. He doesn't answer my calls all the time and you don't see me flying down to Atlanta to check on him.

I was pissed and angry when I grabbed my laptop from the coffee table and started looking up flights to Atlanta.
