tay and taylor lay by the fireplace, the warmth of the flames casting a soft glow around them. the cold weather outside made the cozy scene even more perfect. they talked everything, from cats, to random history facts. tay started drifting off in taylor's arms, soon they both fell asleep
the next morning tay woke up moving quietly trying not to wake up taylor, she went into her room getting dressed to go to the studio, to practice for her interview on jimmy fallon.
tay sends taylor a text saying 'hey, i'm sorry to leave you so early, i wanted to get some practice in for fallon tonight.' and shuts her phone grabbing her bag and walking towards the door
at the studio taylor sees jack, "hey jack!" tay says sitting her bag down and sitting down next to it, "how long do you think it'll take for sabrina to notice i'm here?" tay says smiling, "i'm shocked she hasn't already noticed, do you think i have time to make a run for it before she starts screaming?" they both chuckle
"you-" tay gets cut off by sabrina "TAYLOR!" sabrina runs up to tay, "give me a hug!" tay bends to sabrina's level "dang i always forget how short you are." tay says laughing and hugging sabrina "what are you doing here?" sabrina asks, "i wanted to get some studio time before my performance on fallon." tay says pulling away from the hug to see sabrina
sabrina leaves and tay starts practicing, hours pass and tay gets ready to leave the studio, "bye jacky." tay says pulling him into a hug "bye taylor, have fun tonight! see you friday!" he pulling away, tay smiles and leaves
after tay's performance she goes home and opens her door, expecting to see taylor but is left with an empty house, and she's thinking to herself that she wishes he was there because she hasn't been feeling good and she wants someone to hold her, as she's holding back tears she calls blake, blake answers the phone
on the phone
"blake?" tay says waiting for a response
"hey tay!" blake says
"what are you doing?" tay responds
"im out of town for the movie, why what's wrong" blake says a hint of concern in the voice
"why do you think something's wrong? im fine." tay responds
"tay, i can hear it in your voice, give me a sec im finding a place to sit." tay hears moving in the background
"alright im ready to listen what's up?" blake says waiting to hear what tay has to say
"no it's nothing, i think im just overreacting, sorry." tay says
"overreacting about what?" blake says a little more calmly
"im just scared." blake hears the worry in her voice
"taylor, if you don't tell me what's going on your going to make me scared." blake waits for tay again
taylor stays silent for a few seconds, "um, i don't know i just feel sick. it's probably nothing im sorry for calling your probably really busy, talk later?" tay says getting ready to hang up
"tay stop," tay gets silent "i'm never too busy to help you, i've told you this before and i will say it again. i will never be too busy i would drop anything for you. now do you know what's making you feel sick?" blake says concerned but in a calm tone
"honestly, i'm not sure, i thought it was just nerves because i haven't done an interview in a bit, but the interview is over and im still feeling sick. in fact the sickness is getting worse" tay says
