Nari was on the edge of her bed, her heart racing, but not from any physical exertion.

Although promotions and practice have taken a toll on her.

Her mind is filled with Wonwoo, she even search for his fan cams just to see him. The way he made her feel like her from just texting with her.

Her members couldn't do that no matter how hard they tried.

Wonwoo had texted her a few times, checking in, but she had been ignoring him. She was feeling like a burden to him, or better her feelings were making her feel like that.

She needed an escape—something, anything to make her feel in control again.

So she decided she would go for a run to help clear her mind.

As she was lacing up her shoes and was about to head out the door, Yuka appeared in the hallway.

"Going for a run with Wonwoo?" She asked

"No. Alone"

"Hmm why? You've been running with him. Is he away?"

"No. I just want to run alone" Nari glared at her friend "can I go?"

Yuka crossed her arms, her brow furrowed. "I'm worried about you. There's a lot of buzz online, and this scandal is really gaining attention. I know you're stressed, but running yourself into the ground isn't going to solve anything."

"I just need to clear my head. It's just a run. I'll be fine."

Yuka didn't seem convinced. She stepped closer, placing a hand on Nari's arm. "I don't want you to think you're alone in this. We're is here for you. I'm here for you."

Nari pulled her arm away gently "Don't overreact.... It's just a run"

Yuka sighed, clearly torn. "Alright, but just... be careful and no earphones"

Nari nodded, giving her leader a reassuring look before heading out the door.

The cool air hit her face, and for the first time all day, she felt like she could breathe again.

She started her run at a steady pace, focusing on the rhythm of her feet hitting the pavement. With each step, she felt the tension in her body start to ease—until she noticed someone behind her.

Her heart quickened, but not from the exercise.

The footsteps were closing in, and she instinctively picked up her pace.

Whoever was behind her was running faster, and Nari's anxiety spiked as she realized she was being followed.

Panic bubbled up inside her, and she sprinted, hoping to lose the person.

The footsteps only grew louder. Just as she was about to break into a full sprint, a familiar voice called out her name. "Nari, wait!"

She whipped around, her chest heaving, and found herself face to face with Wonwoo. He was panting slightly, clearly having chased after her.

"Wonwoo?" Nari's voice wavered

"Fuck.. you can run" he said catching his breathe while grinning at her " you're making me sweat"

"You scared me" she said hitting his chest

"I'm sorry... I was out and I saw you. I wasn't stalking you" he answered and she narrow her eyes "ok... I've been running since I came hoping to see you. Not stalking"

"Kinda" she said "why?"

He stepped closer "I wanted to make sure you're ok"

"You could've texted me. You have my number big guy" Nari smiled at him " see I'm fine"
