Wonwoo sat beside Nari's hospital bed, his hand wrapped around hers, watching the slow rise and fall of her chest.

She gain consciousness for a minute or so, didn't said anything, just moved like she was waking up but then went back to sleep.

The doctors said it was normal and for Wonwoo not to worry.

He hadn't slept, his eyes red from tears and exhaustion, but he refused to leave her side. Every minute she stayed unconscious was agonizing.

Suddenly, the door to the room opened. Nari's members entered, their faces stained with tears. Yuka, Yunhee, Misuk, and Minseo rushed over to her, their sobs breaking through the quiet.

Yuka sniffled as she took Nari's other hand. "Thank you. If you hadn't gotten there in time... I don't even want to think about it."

Her voice cracked, and she wiped her tears quickly, trying to be strong for Nari.

Wonwoo could barely meet their eyes, still overwhelmed by guilt. "I should've done more. I should've been there sooner. This happened because of me. Because I was careless"

"You were but no one asked the stupid person to post a photo" Yunhee said "you were just being a good boyfriend"

"Bu-"

Yunhee shook her head. "You did everything you could. You saved her, Wonwoo."

Just then, Changmin appeared. His face was ashen, and his steps were slow and heavy.

As soon as he saw Nari lying in the hospital bed, his composure shattered.

He pulled Yuka into a gentle embrace, without talking. He held her close, his body trembling as silent tears fell.

Changmin whispered, voice shaking, "I can't believe it got this bad. I should've noticed something... I should've been there for her."

The weight of guilt hung thick in the room, each of them feeling the burden of not realizing how deeply Nari had been struggling.

Wonwoo, still holding her hand, clenched his jaw to hold back more tears. It was unbearable to see her like this.

Soon after, Woozi  and Hoshi arrived at the hospital, their faces full of concern. Woozi placed a supportive hand on Wonwoo's shoulder.

Hoshi said softly, "We're here for you. For both of you."

Woozi nodded , his expression pained but resolute. "If you need anything, just say the word. We've got you."

Wonwoo appreciated their presence, but his heart was heavy.

The waiting was torturous, the uncertainty unbearable. He took a deep breath and excused himself from the room, stepping out into the hallway for a moment of privacy.

His hands shook as he pulled out his phone and dialed his dad's number.

When his father answered, Wonwoo couldn't hold back anymore. His voice cracked as he began to cry, the weight of everything that had happened crashing down on him.

"Dad... it's Nari. She—she tried to... I found her, and she wasn't responding... I—"

His father's calming voice came through the line, filled with empathy and concern. "She's ok? Do you want me to go there? What do you need?

"She's at the hospital, the doctor said she's ok but she's still out" Wonwoo wiped at his eyes, trying to steady his breathing. "What if I was too late? What if she doesn't wake up?"

His dad's voice remained steady. "She's going to wake up. You stay strong for her. You did the right thing, and you're going to help her get through this."

As he hung up, the doctor approached him, bringing a small sliver of hope.

"Her vitals are stable. It's up to her body to recover now. You should rest, it's normal ok?"

Wonwoo nodded, feeling a small bit of relief but still unable to shake the knot of anxiety in his stomach.

He returned to Nari's room, where her members and his friends were still gathered, waiting for her to wake up.

That night, exhausted, Wonwoo finally allowed himself to drift off to sleep in the chair beside her bed, his hand still holding hers.

The next morning, Wonwoo felt a soft tug on his hand. He stirred, his eyes slowly opening, adjusting to the dim light in the room. His heart skipped a beat when he heard a faint voice.

"Wonwoo...?"

His name—soft, fragile, but unmistakably hers.

He sat up straight, his breath catching in his throat. Her eyes were open, groggy but clear, searching for him.

Tears immediately welled up in Wonwoo's eyes as he leaned closer, his heart soaring with relief. "Baby... you're awake."

Her lips trembled into a weak smile, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry."

Wonwoo shook his head, brushing her hair gently out of her face. "No, don't apologize. You don't have to be sorry for anything."

Nari's eyes filled with tears "I didn't know what else to do. It was too much. I just wanted a break, I don't know why I did it. I'm so sorry"

Wonwoo leaned forward, pressing a kiss to her forehead, his own tears falling onto her skin. "You don't have to be . I'm here. I love you and I'm not going anywhere."

Nari's hand gripped his weakly, and she nodded, tears spilling down her cheeks. "I was so scared..."

He wrapped his arms around her carefully, pulling her close as she cried into his chest. "We're going to get through this. Together."
