Yumni was preparing for their fan meeting before the start of their tour.
Early this morning she did talk with Wonwoo, he was playing with Mingyu and they talked a bit while she was drinking some coffee.
Lately they have been getting more attention, maybe from the dance challenges or maybe more people hating on Nari.
She wasn't sure but that thought is in her mind as she's scared of this fan meeting. Maybe someone will tell her she's awful or maybe that she should just leave.
The girls took their places, Minseo was next to her and smiled "You look scare, I saw fans with your pictures. They love you relax"
"I just feel weird today." She explain
"Did you talk with him?"
Nari nodded as Changmin signed that it was gonna start.
As the fan meeting went on, her nerves started to ease. The fans were overwhelmingly kind and supportive, showering her with compliments and warm wishes.
They made her feel better, and by the time she was nearing the end of the event, she was feeling much more comfortable.
But when the last fan sat in front of her, Nari's heart skipped a beat.
"I just wanted to say..." the fan began with a smile, "I know your little secret, but don't worry, I'm happy for you."
Nari felt her chest tighten. Her mind started racing, wondering if the fan was referring to her and Wonwoo.
Did someone find out about them? She forced a smile and thanked the fan, but as soon as the meeting was over, she found herself feeling overwhelmed.
Yunhee and Misuk were the first to notice something was wrong, and they quickly pulled her aside.
"You okay?" Yunhee asked, concerned.
Nari bit her lip and nodded, but then let out a nervous sigh. "One of the fans said she knew my 'little secret.' What if she knows about me and Wonwoo?"
"What? How?"
"Don't know. She just said that and that started talking about our comeback. I couldn't focus anymore"
Misuk gently rubbed her shoulder. "Hey, don't overthink it. It could be anything. Maybe she meant some spoiler for our comeback."
"I don't think so"
"Don't let your thoughts ruining today for you.
That night, Nari couldn't stop thinking about the fan's words. She decided to call Wonwoo to calm her nerves.
"Hey," he answered, his voice soft and reassuring.
"Hey," she replied, leaning back on her bed. "Something weird happened today."
"What?" he asked, sensing her tension.
Nari explained the fan's comment, and there was a brief pause before Wonwoo spoke again.
"Nari, trust me, no one knows about us," he said firmly. "If they did, we would've heard about it by now. No one recognized you from when we went running. You don't have to worry."
"Are you sure?"
"Our social media team didn't told me anything, Scoups also didn't say anything and he's all over it. We're ok."
"I hope so. I feel anxious"
"What can I do to help?" He asked
"Hearing your voice helps"
"Do you want me to do a monologue? It's more a seungkwan thing or hoshi's but I can try" he said making her chuckle
"You definitely could do a monologue about your favorite games"
"Oh I forgot Woozi and his 6 hours speaking about anime" he said "Minghao was stressed"
"I saw that, and he had good recommendations" Nari smiled
"Do you like anime?"
"Hmm I do. I'm kinda of a nerd"
"My kind of girl" Wonwoo voice was warm and fuzzy "If you'd played you would be my dream girl"
"Ouch" Nari said offended "so I'm not your dream girl?"
"You're my girl, and I definitely dream about you" he said " and I can teach you how to play baby"
"Mad at you" Nari pouted
"No you're not. You're in love with me"
"I am" he could feel her smile through the phone "you made sure I did didn't you"
"I did. I'm in love you too" Wonwoo replied. "Feeling better?"
"I feel better now."
"Good," he said softly. "Now get some rest. You've got a lot ahead of you."
"I will. Talk to you later?"
"Always," he replied before they hung up.
The next morning, as Yumni prepared to leave for the airport.
"Where's Misuk?" Minseo asked in a hurry
"In the bathroom. Changmin is coming up to kill you" Yuka said loudly
"Offer your body in sacrifice" Misuk yelled from the bathroom "5 minutes! My hair is not collaborating today"
Yuka cheeks gain a beautiful shade of red and as she open her mouth to say something, Yunhee glared at her warning not to yell with their baby.
"What's happening?" Changmin entered the room " they're doing their telepathic conversation?"
"Yup" Nari said "Misuk is almost ready"
"Good. Check if you have everything. Don't forget anything important. Nari your anxiety pills...."
"Yeah.....I have them" she answer quietly
"Ya. I told you because you need them, don't be embarrassed for taking them. They help you" Changmin told her
"I'm ready" Misuk finally left the bathroom
"Finally let's go" Minseo said
