Thankfully, the consult went well and Nari had finally come back home from the hospital, but Wonwoo hadn't left her side for a second.

He was always close, making sure she was comfortable, arranging her pillows, bought her sweets and all her favorite snacks and simply being there.

His presence was a comfort she hadn't realized she needed so much.

As they sat together in her living room, the doorbell rang.

Nari's parents had arrived, and the moment they saw her, her mom rushed forward, pulling her into a tight embrace. Tears streamed down her mother's face as she held onto Nari, her voice shaky.

"Oh, baby... I was so scared. I thought I'd lost you."

Nari felt tears of her own threatening to spill, but she held them back as she hugged her mom.

She could see the worry in her father's eyes as well, though he tried to remain strong for her.

Then her mom turned to Wonwoo. Without a second thought, she stepped forward and wrapped him in a hug too, surprising him.

"Thank you... Thank you for saving her. I don't know what would've happened if you weren't there."

Wonwoo, though caught off guard, returned the hug gently, his voice soft. "I'd do anything for her."

When Nari's mom stepped back, Nari couldn't hold it in anymore. She cried, the weight of everything that had happened coming to the surface again. Her voice trembled as she spoke.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... I wasn't trying to take my life. I just... I just wanted everything to stop for a moment, to find some peace."

Her parents reassured her, holding her and telling her they understood, that they were just relieved she was still with them.

"But next time buy her more interesting flowers ok?" Her dad said to Wonwoo

"I'll buy her every flower. She's worth it"

Her mom blushed and nodded "Yeah he's a good one"

After spending some time together, her parents left, giving her space to rest and recover. But Wonwoo stayed, of course. He was always there, watching over her, making sure she felt safe.

As they sat together, Nari scrolling through her phone, she noticed that some fans had left comments under the post about her and Wonwoo.

To her surprise, many were supportive, sending her love and well wishes, while some even commented on how happy they were to know she had someone like Wonwoo by her side.

Nari smiled faintly as she read through the comments. "Look, some people are actually happy for us."

Wonwoo leaned in closer, reading along with her, a smile tugging at his lips. "That's because they see how much I care about you."

There was a pause, and then he turned to her, his eyes gentle but full of warmth. "How about we go to my dorm? The guys have been asking about you, and they really want to see you."

"Aren't they mad at me?"

"No one is mad baby" he assured her

Nari hesitated for a moment, but then she nodded.

She had missed everyone too, and maybe seeing them would help her feel more like herself again.

When they arrived at the dorm, the door opened before they could even knock.

All of the girls, were there, waiting for her.

The moment she stepped inside, they rushed toward her, wrapping her in a group hug so tight that she could barely breathe.

Hayun smiled through her tears. "You had us so worried, Nari."

Haeri added softly, "Don't ever scare us like that again, okay?"

Seungkwan was standing off to the side. His face was red, and she could tell he'd been crying.

He approached her slowly and without a word, pulled her into a hug.

Seungkwan whispered, his voice shaking slightly, "I'm just glad you're okay."

Nari's heart broke a little seeing him like this. She hugged him back tightly, her voice soft. "I'm sorry, Seungkwan... I didn't mean to make everyone worry."

But he just smiled at her through his tears and hugged her again, holding on for a little longer before letting go.

Wonwoo, always attentive, stayed by her side throughout dinner. At one point, he leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I like having you here"

Nari smiled softly, squeezing his hand under the table." I like it too"

After they had settled down for dinner and everyone was talking, Nari leaned back a little, listening to the chatter around her. The familiar sound of laughter and friendly teasing eased some of the weight she had been carrying for so long. Wonwoo was by her side, casually filling her plate with more food, as if he was determined to make sure she was eating enough.

"You don't need to feed me like this, you know. I can't get weight"

"I'm just making sure you're eating properly this time. You've got a track record."

Nari rolled her eyes playfully but took a bite, knowing he wasn't going to let up. "Fine, fine. Happy?"

"Very."

From across the table, Mingyu grinned, noticing the exchange. "Wonwoo's turned into the mom type, huh? Didn't see that coming."

Taylor joined in with a laugh, "He's been like this all the time. You were just too blind to see. He made us texted him every five minutes when we were with Nari at the hospital"

Nari, pretending to be surprised, turned to Wonwoo with raised eyebrows. "Is that true?"

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. That's all."

"We've all been worried about you. But I'm so glad you're here with us now. We missed you." Mei said

"I missed you guys too. I'm really sorry I pushed you all away."

Bitna, sitting across from her, waved off her apology. "We get it. Sometimes it's hard to let people in when everything feels overwhelming. But just know we're always here for you"

Seungkwan, who had been quiet for a while, spoke up again, his voice soft. "Just promise us one thing, okay?"

"What's that?"

Seungkwan, with a small, sad smile, "That you won't try to go through stuff alone again. We're all here for you. Don't shut us out next time."

Nari bit her lip, feeling the weight of his words. She nodded slowly. "I promise. I'll... I'll talk to you guys more. I won't let it get that bad again."

The table fell into a brief silence, heavy with emotion, until Mingyu cleared his throat, lightening the mood. "Alright, enough of the heavy stuff. Who's ready for dessert? I made something special."

"Cake?" Bitna asked " I'm craving some chocolate"

"Trying to tell us something?" Vernon asked her

Hoshi smiled "No, I've been trying to cut of sweets and she's doing it with me"

"Girl, I'll buy you all the chocolate in the world" Haeri said

Later, as the group was winding down and everyone was getting ready to leave, Nari found herself standing by the window, watching the city lights in the distance.

Wonwoo came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Are you feeling okay?"

Nari leaned back into his embrace, nodding. "Yeah, I am. Better than I've felt in a while."

Just then, Seungkwan called from across the room, "Hey, lovebirds! Are you guys going to say goodbye, or do we have to pry you apart?"

Nari laughed softly, shaking her head. "We're coming!"

As they joined the others to say their goodbyes, Wonwoo kept his hand in hers, squeezing gently as if to remind her that he was there and wasn't going anywhere.
