Nari was minding her own business at the company when suddenly, Taylor and Mei burst into the practice room. She blinked in surprise as the two women stood in the doorway, grinning like they were up to no good.

"What are you two doing here?" Nari asked, wiping the sweat from her forehead with a towel.

"We're kidnapping you," Taylor said, winking as she crossed her arms. "Hey girls" she said to others members

"Hey. Just bring her in one piece" Yuka said smiling

"Thank you," Mei added, grabbing Nari's bag from the floor and tossing it to her. "We're taking you out for lunch. And no arguments."

Nari raised an eyebrow, skeptical but curious. "Lunch where?"

"At a big building" Taylor said casually, like it wasn't a big deal.

"With Seventeen," Mei finished, a mischievous smile on her face.

Nari's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, what? Why? I can't just show up there."

"Too late, we're already going," Taylor said, grabbing Nari's arm and pulling her toward the door. "Now come on!"

With no time to protest, Nari found herself being dragged out of the company building and into a waiting car.

The entire ride over, her heart raced as she tried to figure out how they'd even arranged this and why on earth Seventeen would want her there.

She quickly looked at the mirror to make sure she was looking presentable.

When they arrived at HYBE, Nari felt like a fish out of water.

It's been a long time since she'd been here. As soon as they walked through the doors, Taylor and Mei seemed perfectly at ease, waving at staff like they'd done this a hundred times.

They led her straight to their practice room where Seventeen was already gathered around on the floor, chatting and laughing.

Wonwoo's eyes widened in surprise when he saw Nari walk in behind Taylor and Mei.

He looked at the girls, clearly frustrated. "You brought her here?" he asked, frowning slightly.

Taylor shrugged, unfazed. "Relax. We didn't hurt her. Now let's eat cause I need to go back to work"

Nari felt awkward as she stood by the door, not sure where to go or who to sit with.

Hayun noticed her hesitation and smiled warmly, patting the seat next to her. "Hey, Nari, come sit with me."

Relieved, Nari sat down , giving Hayun a small smile. "Thanks."

"No problem," Hayun replied, turning to her with a friendly look. "How have you been? Promotions are over?"

Nari nodded, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle in. "Yeah, it's been a busy few weeks with the comeback."

As they continued to talk, Nari found herself relaxing a little.

Hayun was easy to talk to, and the light conversation helped distract her from the lingering tension she felt knowing Wonwoo was watching her from across the room.

From his spot at the table, Wonwoo watched Nari and Hayun's interaction with a slight frown.

He wasn't mad at Nari—far from it—but he was irritated that Taylor and Mei had brought her here without giving him any warning.

Seeing her laugh and chat with Hayun, though, he felt an undeniable tug of something—maybe jealousy of the smile Nari was showing her.

He wanted to be the one making her feel comfortable, to have a moment alone with her where they could talk things through properly.

After what felt like forever, the lunch finally wrapped up, and everyone started standing to leave.

Mei and Jun were the first ones to go away, while Taylor bumped into wonwoo and winked at him before Minghao pulled her away.

Just as Nari was about to follow the others out of the room, Scoups passed by her and murmured "Stay. He wants to talk to you."

Nari froze, her heart skipping a beat. She glanced over at Wonwoo, who was looking at her.

The moment they found themselves alone, Nari felt her face getting red and she stood there awkwardly.

Wonwoo crossed the room in a few quick steps, closing the distance between them.

"Sorry about them"

"I'm just happy you all are so nice to me" she said looking briefly at his lips

"You know," he began, his voice low, "I've been thinking about you."

"You have?"

He nodded, his gaze intense. "A lot."

"Me too" she admitted

"You have?" He smiled " I'm sorry for making things awkward. I just see you and want to kiss you."

Nari took a deep breath and leaned in, giving him a quick, shy peck on the lips.

When she pulled back, she was surprised to see his cheeks tinged with a light blush.

Wonwoo blinked in surprise but then smiled, his hands gently cupping her face as he leaned in to kiss her again—this time more deeply, with a lingering intensity that made her knees weak.

When they finally pulled apart, they were both smiling. Wonwoo's eyes searched hers as he asked, "Can we keep doing this?"

"Is it pity?"

Wonwoo's expression softened, and he shook his head. "No. I really like you, Nari. This isn't pity, it was never pity. I think I'm just obsessed with you"

Slowly, she nodded, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Okay. Yes. You can keep kissing me"

With that, Wonwoo kissed her again, and this time, it felt like everything else melted away. The confusion, the anxiety, the tension—it all disappeared, leaving only the two of them in that quiet, shared moment.
