Minho POV:
Hana tried to rest for a bit but found she couldn't sleep, so she decided to call Seungmin and Jeongin. The conversation felt strained; it was clear she wanted to be left alone. It wasn't out of malice—she'd had a tough day, and needing solitude wasn't unusual.
"Okay, that's enough, it's getting late. Eat and go to sleep."
I ordered once she hung up."What am I? A child?"
She said frowning."You might as well be. No, you are one until you get better."
"I'll get better on my own."
"Listen here you little-"
"Are you really going to call a sick person a 'little shit'?"
"You're so annoying, you know that?"
"Exactly, that's the point, you idiot."
"You're lucky we're friends"
"Or what?"
"Or you'd be rotting in bed with a fever that's what"
"Remind me why we're friends again?"
"To keep you alive? Have you seen the way you live?"
"I- goddamn it, I've run out of comebacks"
"It's not like you had comebacks to begin with."
"Now, you're being annoying"
I mocked her back and she got up from the bed to chase me down
"It's not like you could do anything to me even if you catch me. I'm a boxer remember? I could land a single punch and put you out cold."
"Boxer or not, I'll catch and kill you anyways."
"Should I get you a stepstool to stand on so that you can look me in the eye as you threaten me?"
"Okay, I'm not that short."
"Okay, midget"
"YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT?"
"OH MY GOD BUT I JUST DID?"
"I think we should stop; this is getting ridiculous,"
she said, tiredly walking towards me, but I kept my guard up."Glad you think that."
"You're as petty as a six-year-old."
"And you're not?"
"Man, I hate you."
"I know, I hate you too."
We stared at each other for a moment before bursting into laughter.
Both of us knew that we didn't really hate each other.
