L I L I A

It has only been a week since Beth had accepted Dad's proposal and she has been around to our house loads since then. Making wedding preparations, I guess. I had not seen any of her son's since that evening.

Aunt Jacklynn and Uncle Zaiden have been over at our house almost every day since they found out about the wedding. They've been helping Dad and Beth with wedding preparations. Uncle Zaiden is my Mum's brother, and he and his wife have twelve children. TWELVE! I love all of them so much. But some more than others though.

The oldest of the Rodriguez kids is twenty-one, whilst the youngest is five. Uncle Zaiden and Aunt Jacklynn only have one daughter, Faelynn. I feel so bad that she has to live with eleven brothers. And almost all of them are really annoying. Fae is my age and pretty much lives in my house just to get away from her brothers.

Fae goes to my school and is pretty much in all my classes, so once she heard that the Jackson twins are going to be my new 'stepbrothers', she kind of freaked out. She freaked out because she knows how awkward it would be for me after everything that Noah had done to one of our best friends. I guess she feels weirded out also because they'll now be forced into her life. If she still wants to have sleepovers at my 'new' house, she's going to inevitably bump into the Jackson twins.

It's even weirder because Faelynn's twin brother, my cousin Kieran is actually one of Noah's best friends. But at school, Fae and Kieran don't even acknowledge each other's presence, since they have different circles of friends. But I think everyone knows that they're twins since they're in the same year and their last name is also a big giveaway.

Since the proposal, Beth and Dad had already chosen a house in which they both wanted to move into. I have not yet seen it. Beth wanted both Lizzy and me to meet up with her son's to see it together. Just us kids. I know what they are planning. Dad and Beth are trying to get us to bond together if having dinner last week was any constellation.

I know that would NEVER happen. Lizzy and Sammy hate each other's guts. I have no idea why. And until last week, one of the twins, (I'm not sure which one), did not even know that I existed, which is weird because he's probably the one who is best friends with my cousin, according from I gathered about his personality. I'm not even quiet or shy at school, but neither am I in the popular group. I like to think that I'm quite normal. Just the regular, everyday student.

Both Noah and Kyle are really popular. I don't think they know it, or maybe they do, but they are both also really good looking. I hear whispers about their good looks when I'm walking through the corridors at school. In my friendship group, we hardly ever talk about the Jackson twins, it's a sore topic. I am probably one of the only girls in our school who has not fallen for them. Oh, and Fae as well. But that's mostly because she already has a boyfriend and they've been dating for over three years now.

Beth came around to our house yesterday. She told Lizzy and me to meet her son's at her house so that we can also visit the new house together. I don't even know where the new house is. I have also never been to Beth's house. Though I know it is only a ten-minute drive away. It is also going to be very weird to go to the Jackson twin's house. But luckily Fae is coming along with me. I'm dragging her along.

. . .

I rang the doorbell and Sammy opened it. He's an adorable twelve-year-old who honestly looked too young for his age. He looked about ten with those big blue eyes.

"Hey Lilia," He smiled at me. His gaze then shifted towards Fae, and he sent her a curious glance.

Fae gave him a little wave and smiled, "Hi, I'm Faelynn, but you can call me Fae."
