Vampires & nonhumans in Wattys

Just like the werewolves chapter, there's so much potential for stories and worldbuilding, only for it to be washed over by the endless desire for smut scenes on this website. Even if there isn't as much variety when it comes to vampire culture, it suffers just the same as the omegaverse.

First off, the fact that vampires live much longer than humans. It's not necessarily a problem to have really old characters (I'm cooking up a species that lives for hundreds of years.) It's the way that these older beings interact with our humans. For example, having one teenage girl be friends with a teenage vampire. As long as both are teens in their respective species, it is completely fine. But if an adult (vampire or human) tries to interact with a younger character beyond a caregiver role, drop the book and go read something else. I'm not qualified to talk about stuff like this, so please, go do your research.

Secondly, as said earlier, the lack of variety in culture across Watty books. Unlike the omegaverse where it has elements for each type of reader, vampires get a little repetitive. They live long lives, have generic vampire abilities, are born in wealth and live in big castles/mansions. Once again, a bit plain for my taste.

Alright, what can we do this time?

Just so I won't repeat myself, the solution is very similar to the werewolves one. However, you can also add or change to vampire culture whatever you want to add. After all, there are many folkloric stories and creatures out there, waiting to be implemented in a book. And like I said before, it's only a few google searches away from creating something new.
