Falling more in love

3 months later

I wake up to the sound of the front door closing, looking at the time I have slept in. I slowly get up bringing my arms over my head having a couple of pops in my back. I put on my house robe and head out the room to hear Alastor humming in the kitchen. "Alice, are you awake?" I head down the stairs replying back yes. "Wonderful. I took the liberty to go shopping and picked up a few things. Head back to the room and relax, I will bring up lunch." "Oooh lunch in bed? I'm being pampered today." I hear a slight chuckle coming from the kitchen and I walk back to the room and grab a book to read.

I hear the door open and see him carrying a tray of soup and crackers. "hear you go dear, it's starting to get chilly out and I want to make sure you stay nice and warm. I have some things planned." He places the tray on my lap and the aroma is amazing. "So, what have you done or will be doing?" I questioned him. "Whatever do you mean?" He said with a small chuckle. I gave him a knowing look and he sighed. "The police have ended their investigation on my mothers death." "So that means we can hunt?" "Yes, but." "But?" He lets out another sigh and grabs my hand. "Darling I know you love to hunt with me, but I want to do this on my own. I do hope you understand." I nodded my head. "I completely understand, when will you be going out?" I took a spoon full of my soup while he answered. "I will be going out later tonight. That's why I am making it up to you today." I took another spoonful and nodded my head. "So what do you have on the agenda?" "Well I think about relaxing for a bit at home and then go see our good friend Mimzy, and maybe a stroll in the town before it starts getting way too cold out." I nodded while placing the last spoonful of soup in my mouth. "That sounds like an amazing idea." He stands up and flattens his shirt. "I will let you finish with your food and relax, I will put the rest of the food away and come grab your plate in a little. And when you are ready I will draw you a bath and we can go see Mimzy then." I let out a pleasant sigh "That sounds like a wonderful idea, love. Thank you for being amazing." He leans over on the bed and places a kiss on my lips. "You are truly welcome love. Now relax and read your book and I will be back up soon. I have to do another run real quick. Is there anything that you need?" I thought for a little. "Can you grab me a new book, I am almost finished with this and I don't have another one." "Of course dear. I will be back." He places another kiss on my forehead and walks out of the room. I finished my food and picked my book up and started reading.

Two hours later I hear Alastor come through the front door and walk up the stairs. "Darling? I've brought you a new book." I look over to him leaning on the door frame with his hand stretched out with the book. My eye lit up when I saw the title and swiped it out of his hands. "How did you know I wanted this one!" "Dear, you must think I am blind. Every time we walk through the store I see you eyeing that book every time." My face felt warm with the small embarrassment. "How about I draw you a bath and we head to see Mimzy. I nodded my head and threw the covers off of me. Before I could swing my legs over he lifts me off the bed bridle style and carries me to the bath. "You know you don't always have to carry me. I have feet ya know." He lets out a chuckle and stops walking. "I know you do, you are my queen and I feel like you should be treated like one. I always want to take care of you." He lets out a sigh. "But if you insist, I guess I will just drop you off here." He slowly starts to lean over to put me down and I quickly swing my arms around his neck yelling no. He lets out another chuckle and starts walking again. "Whatever you wish is my command."

After my nice relaxing bath we got dressed and went to go see Mimzy.

We walk up to her steps and I knock on the door and it quickly flew open and before I could register anything Mimzy is clinging on me. "Alice! Oh my goodness I have missed you!" I let out a chuckle and pat her back. "I've missed you two Mimzy, but you know it was only a couple of weeks ago since we seen each other last." "That is still to long." She said pushing herself off of me and quickly turning to Alastor. He puts his hands up in front of him. "Please Mimz your hugs crus-." She quickly runs up to him and gives him the bone crushing hug she always gives him. Shaking my head with a small giggle I walk into her home and sit in the living room waiting for them. A minute later I hear Mimzy screaming and I quickly get up and run out of the living room to the door seeing Alastor in another bone crushing hug. "Darling, can you please help me." I let out another chuckle and I pick her up from the hips and tear her away from him. "Now can you please tell me why you are trying to kill him with your hugs." I asked her putting her back down and before I could react she puts me into a hug and I swear I thought my spine snapped from how strong the hug is. "I'm just so excited that you guys are here." She said letting go of me real quick with her face a little flushed. 'I wonder what that was all about.' I wondered and followed them into the house.

We spent a few hours at her house, telling fun stories about our childhood. "And then he decided to put gum in my hair and I turned around at my desk and gave him a good shiner. Did I get suspended? Yes. But no one ever bothered me after that." Mimzy finished while we were chuckling. Alastor stands up and I follow his lead. "Mimzy we always love seeing you but we have a big day today." He said walking up to her giving her a quick hug. "Oh I bet." She said, giving him a wink and walked over to me. "I love you doll, come back anytime you want." She said with a quick hug. "I love you too and I will." I said with a smile hugging her back. Alastor lends me his arm and we head back to the car. We headed out to the shopping district and walked around for a few but didn't see anything that caught our eye, so we decided to head back home.

Once home he opens my door and leans me his arm once more and we walked into the home. He leads me down to the basement where we keep some of our instruments, (Piano, violin, trumpet, and sax) "What are we doing down here dear?" "Just follow me mi amour." He spoke, pulling me to the piano. Once there he slithers his arm away from my hands and sits down at the piano, grabbing my hand in the process for me to sit next to him. He starts playing Ain't Misbehavin by Fats Waller (Look it on youtube please.) Hearing him sing makes my heart do flips, feeling like I'm falling more in love with him. He is the only man that truly cares and loves me for me. He finishes the song and grabbing my hands snapping me out of my thoughts. I turn to face him and lean in with him until our lips meet, slowly he slithers his one arm to the small of my back and the other cradles my head. He pulls back, "Alice, I absolutely love you. You have made my world whole." I start feeling emotional, my eyes starts to water. "Alastor, I love you too. Ever since I have met you, you made my world flip upside down. I never knew what love would feel like." He leans back down giving me another kiss.

We headed back up to the stairs and made dinner and went upstairs to get ready for bed. "Will you be ok tonight?" I asked, having a bad feeling. I know he will be ok, he is always ok when he goes out on his own, but something feels off this time. He's not telling me something. "Don't worry your pretty little head." Patting my head. "I will be back very late tonight. I am going to have fun with them." I swing my arms around him, giving him a hug, not wanting to let go. "What's wrong amour?" He questioned looking down at me. "I don't know. Something doesn't feel right." He puts his hands on my arms, lightly pushing me back and grabbing my chin to face him. "I promise you that I will be back. I have a surprise for you in the morning anyways. So I have to be back." I smiled and I released him and put my hands on his face bringing it down to give him a kiss. "Ok, I love you." I love you too." He stands up straight and finishes grabbing the rest of his stuff for the hunt. "Be careful and give them hell." I said. He lets out a deep chuckle. "Oh, don't you worry. I will have fun for both you and I." He turns off the light and goes on his way and I fall asleep.

Next morning I started shifting in my sleep and I felt his side being empty. I quickly sit up seeing that he isn't home. I quickly get up and run out the room and down the stairs. On the table right next to the door I see a note. "My love, do you remember our spot where we go stargazing? Please get dressed and meet me there. I will be waiting. I love you. ~ Alastor"

Unholy here! I normally don't leave author notes but here we are. I know that this chapter is very short but I had no idea on what to write for this one. But I promise that the next chapter will give you a lot of emotions.
