Lost in your current, that sea in your eyes,
It hurts me to watch as you're looking in mine,
"Don't cry, my dear" I whisper in your ear,
The way this world is going, we know our end is near,
You're hand is just as shaky as it's pressed against my palm,
Maybe when this is over, we'll find ourselves calm,
Nervous, of course, I hold you close to my heart,
Only a thought in my mind, 'Till death do you part',
I never really liked that saying, not implying that now I do,
Only now it's more eerie to think, knowing now that it's true.

This one has.. many explanations, but I'll keep it short and only explain two.
The first one is sort of pathetic, really. I couldn't sleep one night, as with most of these, except I had school the next day, so my mind was running. And a few minutes prior, a friend had told me about this strange, tragic love dream that they had, about their partner. I won't say too much on that in case this is ever seen by said person, I don't want them to think I was just sharing their information on the internet. Anyway, the dream was very creative, and got me thinking about my own tragic stories, and with that I move to the second reason..

This poem describes a part of a new story that I (Am hopefully going to be) working on in the future. Although I'm not writing anything more than poems now, I do have brainstormed/planned ideas for a future story with this poem in mind, so heres the teaser!! :)
