The following morning, Aisha woke up with a warm feeling in her chest. The memory of last night's kiss played over and over in her mind, and she couldn't help but smile. It was the first time she had felt this way in a long time-happy, content, and excited about what the future might hold.

As she dressed and made her way downstairs, Aisha found Arjun already in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. He looked up as she entered, his face breaking into a smile that made her heart skip a beat.

"Good morning," he greeted her, his voice filled with warmth.

"Good morning," Aisha replied, returning his smile. "You're cooking?"

"I figured I'd give the staff a break today," Arjun said with a grin. "Plus, I wanted to make you something special."

Aisha blushed, feeling a flutter of butterflies in her stomach. "You didn't have to do that."

"I wanted to," Arjun insisted, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity that made her breath catch.

They shared a quiet breakfast together, the atmosphere between them light and easy. It was a stark contrast to the tension that had marked their earlier interactions, and Aisha found herself enjoying every moment. For the first time since this whole arrangement began, she felt like she and Arjun were on the same wavelength, moving toward something genuine.

But their peaceful morning was interrupted by the unexpected arrival of a guest. As they were finishing their meal, the doorbell rang, and Arjun's expression immediately darkened. He excused himself and went to answer the door, leaving Aisha with a sense of foreboding.

When he returned, he wasn't alone. A tall, striking woman with sharp features and an air of confidence followed him into the room. Aisha's heart sank as she recognized her: Natasha.

"Natasha," Arjun said tightly, his voice lacking the warmth he had shown Aisha moments earlier. "This is Aisha, my fiancée."

Natasha's eyes flicked to Aisha, and her lips curled into a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "So, you're the one who's tamed the untamable Arjun Mehra," she said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Aisha forced a smile, feeling the tension in the room escalate. "Nice to meet you."

Natasha didn't bother to hide her disdain as she looked Aisha up and down, clearly unimpressed. "Arjun, darling, I'm surprised you didn't tell me you were bringing a guest to the villa. I thought this was our place."

Aisha's stomach churned at the implication, but she kept her composure, refusing to let Natasha's words get under her skin. She could see the way Natasha was trying to drive a wedge between her and Arjun, and she wasn't about to let her succeed.

"This is our home now," Arjun said firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument. "And Aisha is welcome here anytime."

Natasha's smile faltered, but she quickly recovered, turning her attention back to Arjun. "Of course, darling. I just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing. It's been too long."

Arjun's expression remained impassive as he nodded. "It has. But as you can see, we're busy."

Natasha's eyes narrowed slightly, but she didn't push the issue. "I see. Well, I'll leave you two lovebirds to it. But don't be a stranger, Arjun. We have so much to catch up on."

With that, she turned and left, her exit as abrupt as her arrival. Aisha let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, her mind racing with questions. Who was Natasha to Arjun? And why did she have such a claim on him?

Arjun returned to the table, his expression still tense. "I'm sorry about that," he said quietly, his voice laced with frustration. "Natasha... she's a part of my past. A part I thought I had left behind."

Aisha looked at him, searching his eyes for answers. "What was she to you?"

Arjun sighed, running a hand through his hair. "She was someone I was involved with a long time ago. But it didn't work out, and we went our separate ways. She's always been... possessive, even after we broke things off."

Aisha nodded, though the encounter had left her unsettled. "Do you still have feelings for her?"

Arjun's eyes met hers, and he shook his head firmly. "No, Aisha. That's all in the past. What I feel now... it's different."

Aisha could hear the sincerity in his voice, but the seed of doubt had been planted. She wanted to believe him, wanted to trust that what they were building was real, but Natasha's words had struck a nerve.

"I believe you," Aisha said softly, though a part of her wasn't sure if she was saying it for him or for herself.

Arjun reached across the table, taking her hand in his. "Aisha, I know this isn't easy. But I meant what I said last night. I want to be real with you, no more pretenses. We'll face whatever comes our way together."

Aisha looked at their joined hands, feeling a sense of resolve build within her. "Together," she echoed, her voice firm.

Arjun smiled, and for a moment, the tension eased. But as they continued with their day, Aisha couldn't shake the feeling that Natasha's visit was just the beginning of something far more complicated. And she couldn't help but wonder if their fragile new bond would be strong enough to withstand the challenges that lay ahead.
