Chapter 41: How Do We Fight Her?

"Alright, team", I tried to gather everyone's attention, "Ms. Yori, a strong dark angel, is trying to kill Yuna. We are NOT going to let that happen."

Welcome to the Manga Club's Counterattack group meeting. Hosted at Uncle Ito's mansion inside one of its living rooms (yes, there's actually more than one).

"Wait, who the fuck put you in charge?!", Hitomi protests. Rui has also quietly accompanied her on the couch by the coffee table.

"I'm the protagonist. You're not."

"What?!"

You know shit is fucked when I'm already breaking the fourth wall this early in.

Crystal enthusiastically grabs Umi's arm and raises it, "Umi would like to let everyone know she got expelled from school", Crystal says sweetly as if it's supposed to be good news.

"Hey!", Umi quickly withdraws her arm in annoyance from Crystal.

"What do you mean you got expelled?!", I shouted across the room.

"You don't need to shout! I'm already going to another school."

"Guess what she got expelled for?", Crystal tries quizzing me.

"Why? For being alone in the janitor's closet with you?"

Umi throws a small fireball across the room, hitting the wall behind me. Thankfully it quickly dissipates.

"I'm joking! Sheesh!", I dodged it just barely.

"Why do you keep teasing her if you know she can hurt you?", Crystal laughs.

"It's kinda my thing as her older sister", I joke a bit more.

"Oh, you're a sis con then?", Crystal gets all smugged.

"You know I'm not above strangling my sister's girlfriend, right?"

"Bring it on. I might just surprise you", Crystal smiles suggestively at me.

"Eww", I immediately cringe and shiver, "Wait. How old are you? Like actually?"

A sudden burst of laughter in the room interrupts our 'How To Kill Ms. Yori' meeting.

"Oh, don't mind me", Penelope, aka Crystal's mom, says as she sits in the corner with a mischievous grin. Moonlight is on her lap enjoying being smothered with pets, "Pretend I'm not even here."

Clearly, she finds something amusing about what I asked, but I doubt she's going to tell us what it is.

Why is she here? I'm not sure. She pretty much just invited herself here. But if I had to make a good guess, I would say she's here to make sure we come up with an action plan that doesn't end with us all dead.

"You can't ask a girl her age, Y/N!", Crystal fakes offense.

"For the safety of my little sister, I will", I put on a noble facade.

"Oh my god", Umi has hidden her face in embarrassed annoyance.

Amusingly, I've taken the role our mom should be occupying right now.

You know, if she wasn't occupied with something else that I will not mention.

"Isn't Yuna like a hundred years older than you?", Crystal counters.

Yuna herself is absent right now because of the training with Ito. Considering I've barely seen her since we had sex two days ago, she's really pushing herself to be ready for the next fight with Ms. Yori.

"Leave my unhinged sexy half-demon girlfriend out of this."

"How old are you, Rui?", Crystal changed her target.
