Adele's POV :

The day arrived like any other, the sun

breaking through the clouds with a

gentle warmth, but beneath the calm

exterior, an electric current of

anticipation buzzed in the air. We had

known this day was coming, had counted

down the days on the calendar, yet

nothing truly prepared me for the

moment it was here-the day our child

would be born.

Alice had been restless the night before,

tossing and turning as her body

prepared for what was to come. I stayed

awake with her, rubbing her back,

murmuring reassurances, feeling the

tension build with each passing hour. As

dawn began to paint the sky with shades

of pink and gold, she turned to me, her

face pale but determined.

"Adele... I think it's time."

Those words sent a shiver down my

spine, a mixture of excitement and fear

coursing through me. I'd faced countless

challenges in my life, navigated the

complexities of fame, but nothing

compared to this-bringing a new life

into the world. And I wasn't the one

doing the hard part.

I helped her out of bed, my hands steady

even as my heart raced. I could see the

pain flicker across her face, a brief wince

that she tried to hide from me, but I

knew. I could feel it, too, like it was my

own. We had been through so much

together, but this... this was the

culmination of everything.

We got to the hospital, and everything

moved in a blur. Nurses and doctors

buzzed around us, voices blending into a

background hum as they checked on

Alice, ushered us into a room, and began

preparations. I stayed by her side the

whole time, my hand never leaving hers.

I could feel the strength in her grip, the

determination in her eyes, and it only

made me love her more.

The hours that followed were a test of

endurance-of Alice's body, yes, but also

of our love. I watched her fight through

the contractions, saw the sweat bead on

her forehead, and heard the small gasps

she tried to stifle, not wanting to worry
