Seokmin sat in his usual seat for biology class, staring blankly at the open textbook in front of him. The words blurred together, his mind unable to focus on the lesson. His thoughts kept drifting back to the dream from the previous night-Joshua's touch, his voice, the way he made Seokmin feel. It was all too much, and the line between reality and fantasy was becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish.

Next to him, Minghao, his lab partner and one of his closest friends, noticed Seokmin's distracted state. Minghao nudged Seokmin gently with his elbow, his brows furrowed in concern. ❝Seokmin, are you okay? You don't look so good.❞

Seokmin blinked, pulling himself out of his daze to glance at Minghao. He forced a small smile, though it didn't reach his eyes. ❝I'm fine, Hao. Just... tired, I guess.❞

Minghao wasn't convinced. After Joshua, Minghao was the person Seokmin was closest to, and he could tell when something was off. He leaned in a little closer, lowering his voice so as not to draw attention from their classmates. ❝You sure? You've been acting weird all morning. Did something happen?❞

Seokmin hesitated, his gaze dropping to the desk. He wanted to tell Minghao everything, to unload the confusion and heartache that had been building inside him. But this wasn't the time or place. ❝I'll explain later,❞ he muttered, hoping that would be enough to satisfy Minghao for now.

Minghao gave him a searching look but eventually nodded, understanding that Seokmin wasn't ready to talk yet. ❝Alright. But don't keep it bottled up, okay? You can tell me anything.❞

The rest of the class dragged on, with Seokmin barely absorbing any of the material. When the bell finally rang, signaling the start of lunch, Seokmin felt a wave of relief. Maybe talking to Minghao would help him make sense of everything.

They headed to the cafeteria together, finding a quiet table in the corner where they could talk without being overheard. Seokmin fidgeted with his hands, unsure of how to start. Minghao waited patiently, giving him the space he needed to gather his thoughts.

After a few moments of silence, Seokmin finally spoke up. ❝I... I've been having these dreams, Hao. About Joshua.❞

Minghao tilted his head slightly, curiosity piqued. ❝Dreams? What kind of dreams?❞

Seokmin's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but he pushed through it, knowing he needed to be honest. ❝They're... intimate. Like, really intimate. And it's not just the dreams. I think I'm... I think I might be falling in love with him.❞

Minghao's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he quickly composed himself, giving Seokmin a reassuring smile. ❝That's nothing to be embarrassed about, Seokmin. It's natural to feel that way, especially if you've been close to him for so long. Have you ever considered telling him how you feel?❞
