Jamie opened her eyes to see that she was in a dark room.

Scared she looked around when she spotted her twin brother "Elliott" she rushed over to him as he opened his eyes.

"Jamie" he looked at her and she nodded "Where are we?" he asked "I don't know" she looked around "Where is mommy and daddy?" she asked as tears was in the twins' eyes.

"I'm scared. I miss mommy and daddy" Elliott sob as he was sitting on the floor, hugging his knees.

"I miss mommy and daddy too, and I'm also scared" Jamie looked at her brother "But they are on their way, I know it" Elliott looked at his sister "We have each other, and we will always have each other's back" Jamie lifted her pinky.

Elliott smiled before he lifted up his pinky and hooked it with Jamie's pinky "Until the end of time" they said.

Then suddenly the door opened and the two kids crawled backwards as three figures walked closer to them.

"Please, we wanna go home" Elliott cried "We want mommy and daddy" Jamie cried "Your mommy and daddy is not coming for you dear" Gene said as him and Jean was looking down at the two little kids.

"I didn't expect those was the two people that we needed, they really are some cute once" Jean said "Cute but powerful" Gene said.

"So kids, what's your powers?" Jean asked "We want our mommy and daddy" Elliott cried "We don't like you, we're scared, we want mom and dad" Jamie cried.

"Stop crying" Gene slap the two kids across their faces causing them to let out a whimper.

"Stop whimper and grow up kids, with powers as strong as yours, you need to stop crying like babies" Gene said as the twins hold their hands on their cheek where Gene have slap them, tears in their eyes.

"You two better save your strength and use your powers if you want to stand against the Cleanse" Gene said.

"Wait" a voice said and the couple turned around to see Nico "I thought you said that you just wanted some of their blood and then you will give them back. That was the plan right?" Nico asked.

"We really thought you were smart kid" Gene said "What?" Nico asked "How can their blood save us. No, we need them to use their powers and fight against the Cleanse, when they destroy it, the timelines will be restore" Jean said "Wait, so you are putting two six-year-old up against some monster?" Nico asked and the two nodded.

"Are you guys insane, they are just kids, I mean they barely even know how to use their powers, they will get killed" Nico said "Only if they don't use their powers" Gene said.

It was like they didn't care that Jamie and Elliott was just little kids, too young to something like this.

"You said that you wouldn't hurt them" Nico said "We wouldn't, and they are not gonna get hurt. They are gonna kill that creature and then with their powers restore the timeline" Gene said "They are too young" Nico said as he looked at Jamie and Elliott who was crying.

"Jamie and Elliott are sweet kids, they don't deserve this" he said "You have become too attached to them" Gene said "They are only six, they are just kid" Nico said "Kids with great power, and it's time they learn how to use them" Gene said "They belong with their parents" Nico said "Well, then you shouldn't have taken them away then" Jean said.

"This is wrong" Nico said "Are you question us?" Jean walked closer to Nico "We want to know which side you are on" Gene said.

Nico looked at Elliott and Jamie that was crying out for their mom and dad.
